Viper's pov
I slowly walk to Kay's den thinking about what happened to allumos. I don't like abraham being free to do his will. But we are scattered multiple powerful wizards are gone or dead. Patience we need patience. Anyways I'm staying at the protectors with la carnival to help them since they're not the strongest. While the rest of grimshade is staying at divinus. And I'm back at Kay's den. "Hey kay" I say walking in. "Viper" kay says hugging me. "Glad you're safe" I say hugging back. "Oh please I can defend myself and barely anyone considers me a threat" kay states looking up at me. "I know I know I'm just worried about ya know.... allumos and I don't want to lose anyone else" I say quietly. "Hey it's going to be ok everything will be set right" kay says holding me tight rubbing circles in my back. "Yeah yeah sure" I say sadly. "Aww come on let's get your mind off it come on" kay says dragging me off to her bakery.

Kay made me help her bake cookies. Sigh the things I do for her. "Honey can you get me the icing please" kay asks. "Of course love" I say blowing a kiss in her direction. "Thank you my snake" she replies blushing. I walk out getting the icing.

Kay's POV
I quickly divide the batter in two putting some poison (dont ask) in one batch. "I'm back" viper says coming back from getting icing. "Thank you" I say hugging him. "No problem" he replies. "Don't you feel better now" I ask. "Yeah i guess" he says blushing. "Good and I'll be done soon I'll meet you back at my den" I say.

Time skip
I bring out two cookies one for me and one for viper. "Here you go" I say handing him the snake iced cookie. "Thank you" he says taking a bite he give me a strange look and says "did did you put poision on these" I nod "just for the ones for you" I say. "Well thank you" he says as we cuddle up. We fall asleep in each others arms.
