I am dead.
I breathed in the chilling air. It burned my nostrils and lungs, making my muscles twitch.
Everything I saw was black. The blindfold over my eyes didn't allow me to see anything around me.
All I had to do was raise my hands and take it off.
I don't want to see.
I thought as I lay on the cold floor. The thought of opening my eyes terrified me more than anything. I would rather stay blind willingly just listening to the silence and my heart.
Pulsing.
