the crash

Marinette's POV:

I felt a warm long thing lay across my body before a hard slam came from the back of the car. My head slammed into the dashboard of the car, i only saw a white object then fly out seconds later in front of me.... it was the air bag....

After what felt like minutes I looked over to Adrien to realize what had just happened. His eyes opened widely as he looked at my face.  

"Mari! Mari! are you okay??" As my eyes refocused to look around at my surroundings I looked over to see a worried Adrien sitting there with a bruise forming on his forehead. 

"Im fine" i said cautiously, i looked down into my lap to see that the warm thing that laid across me was Adrien's arm. 

And then it all hit me....

we had just been in a car accident. 

Adrien's POV:

After hearing the honk from behind us i saw a fast moving car coming straight towards us. And with a car in front and to the sides of us we were completely trapped from moving. The only thing i had thought of in that split second was Mari, and i knew i needed to protect her. 

I slid my hand over to hold her back from flying forward, and braced for impact. 

A few seconds later i felt the car stop shaking and went to look over at Mari. Her head was in the air bag that had deployed a few seconds ago. 

"Mari! Mari! are you okay??" i screamed. 

she picked her head up in confusion, looking at me concerned and then followed my question with a simple, "I'm fine".

I looked her up and down to see a trail of blood rushing from her scalp to the bottom of her face. 

"shit, Mari your bleeding" i went to go grab a towel from the back of my car to apply pressure. She still seemed a little out of it, fully examining what had actually happened. 

"I'm sorry Adrien... i don't think that the bags were fast enough... because i hit my head... and then they deployed... and then...." she paused for a second to look down at my arm that was laying across her waist..... 

"so much adrenaline was pumping through my body i didn't even notice" i whispered... we both looked down at my arm that had a huge piece of glass stuck in it. 

Marinette's POV:

"Adrien that's not small we need to go to a hospital" i squealed. 

After a while a stunned expression plastered on Adriens face, and then we both realized what it was we were forgetting..

"The Driver!!!" we both yelled. 

At that moment we both opened our doors to go and check on the other driver. But as i got out of the car a sharp pain rushed throughout my leg.

"Ouch." i screamed 

"what.. what is it." Adrien stopped on his way to head to the other driver and turned to me. 

"nothing, nothing, go check on----" before i could finish he was standing next to me 

"Don't lie Marinette whats wrong?" He dropped his gaze at my leg and then brought it back to my eyes. 

"Its just my leg... i think i hurt it, i'm okay i'll stay here and call the police" He nodded and ran to the other car.
