"So you're sure this is Fin's house?" I ask my brother as we get closer to the address he had written down.
"No, but it's what I wrote so we'll just have to go with it." Izuku says rubbing the back of his head. I let out a small sigh as we start walking up the front walk. The house is a bit on the bigger side, but not to the point that makes you question why someone would need such a big house, but big enough to give the impression that if this is the wrong house the tenants probably wouldn't take all to kindly to two teen randomly knocking on their door at 7:00 in the morning.
After moving up to the door I turn to the green sheep wool haired boy to my left and quietly say, "I think you should knock." Izuku shoots me a confused look so I decide to elaborate. "I'm not Asian, they'll probably assume I don't know Japanese and if I'm the one to knock and they don't know English or don't know much they might feel a bit uncomfortable."
My brother lets out a small "Oh" before knocking on the door and a woman opens the door, er person. Really need to stop assuming people's gender.
"Oh hello! You guys must be the Midoriya's! Fin will be right out ok? Just wait right there." They say before walking back in and closing the door most of the way. The door opens a few moments later to reveal a certain blindfolded brunette.
"See you later, have a nice day at school!" A voice calls out which sounds like the person that opened the door.
"I will see you later, mom!" Fin responds as we start walking away from the house. I go to say something but Fin holds his hand up in my direction to tell me to be quiet until we are a few streets away when he speaks up and says, "Know what was that thing about yesterday?"
"Oh um, training." I say shifting the weight of my backpack from one shoulder to the other, "Katsuki and I decided a week before school started we'd do some combat training together on Mondays after school but something came up yesterday and we couldn't." I mean, that's kinda what happened, it's not a lie. Well, at least I don't think it is.
"Why was he so aggressive when he was taking you out for "training"?" Fin replies putting air quotes around the word training.
"Ok I didn't lie about the second part." I say defensively, "But the reason he dragged me away probably has something to do with how I pissed him off last Monday..."
"What did you do?" The blindfolded boy asks, "I mean, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to, I'm just curious, that's all."
"I..." I start before fidgeting around to try and find the right words. "Pinned him to the wall and lectured him on why he shouldn't tell people to go kill themselves... before laughing maniacally and yelling I'm a quirkless loser."
"... Okay, not what I was expecting." Fin says after a moment of awkward silence causing me to giggle a bit.
"What were you expecting?" Izuku pipes up with a raised eyebrow. Oh, big brother much?
"Honestly, I have no clue, but just... not that." Fin says, "He didn't hurt you right?"
"He couldn't land a hit!" I proclaim proudly, before taking on slightly less jubilantly, "Even though the fight didn't last very long and we ended up in a hug with neither of us actually getting hurt. Heh."
"I still don't understand how you managed to... befriend Kacchan." The greenette says, "He's not the nicest person and you are..." He says before lifting up one of his hands as if to count off all the strikes of impossibility mine and Katsuki's friendship have against it, "Quirkless, my sister, kind with a heart too big for your chest, and well, a bit fragile emotionally."
