I wake up perplexed as to why my alarm hadn't gone off. Realizing I had woken up much earlier than the alarm, I figured getting ready and going for a stroll before classes, was a nice idea. From the closet, I pulled out a f/c sweater with puffy sleeves and a matching pair of sweats. The weather was amazing, though it was around 6AM. Even so, I went outside. The air was cold but the sun was shining warm rays of sunshine. The dorms were located close to the school gardens which was a little far away from the actual school. The bench shouldn't be taken at this hour. I'll be able to read in peace! I beamed at my thoughts and skipped my way towards the gardens.

When I arrived at the fountain, where the bench was located, I noticed a figure standing behind the fountain. Moving closer, I noticed it was Reiner. His face looked troubled and he looked upset?

"Reiner... what are you doing here so early?" I breathed. He fully turned around, to face me. His face grew darker as he looked me in the eyes.

"So, you decide to leave me on read, never call me back, and never leave me any messages? You bitch." My eyes widened at his harsh words. I had seen this coming, but I definitely wasn't prepared.

"Rei-" I started, but he cut me off immediately.

"Do you know all of the shit I've done for you? You've given me nothing in return. All you do is take. You should be grateful I'm still sticking around." He vexed. I couldn't help but feel guilty. He wasn't wrong after all. Why did I ghost him in the first place? I can't seem to remember.

"I'm sorry." Was all I could choke out. I had no words. His presence was corning me and limiting my speech, intimidating me.

"You've caused me so much pain. All you cause is pain, y/n." He said, looking away.

"I-" I tried to speak but he grabbed my chin with his hand, roughly.

"You see how this is your fault, right?" His words stabbed me deep in my heart. I couldn't do anything. I just stood there.

"Now, because I'm forgiving, and because you're you... I'll accept your apology." He crashed his lips on mine forcefully. My eyes widened in shock. Everything was happening so fast, it didn't give me time to think. I tried pushing him away but he grabbed my neck, pushing me even closer to him.

"Help!" I finally screamed. I turned my face away from him, but suddenly, he let go of me, as I heard him groan.

"What the fuck." He groaned in pain. I was confused but when I looked back at him and up again, I saw...

"Pieck?" She gave me a warm smile as she clutched her knuckles. I looked at her, tears welling up in my eyes.

"Are you okay, y/n?" She asked and put a hand on my shoulder. I nodded slowly and wiped away my tears, but they kept coming back.

"Do your knuckles hurt? We should go to the infirmary." I said with a swelling voice.

"I'll be fine. You should take a rest. I'll tell Erwin you and I are gonna catch up on some things we learned earlier in the year." I looked at her and raised an eyebrow.
