I woke up to my mundane alarm. It was killing me. I had set it two hours too early. I thought about sleeping in, but eventually dropped that thought, as I couldn't fall back asleep. The gardens looked peaceful and the flowers were beautifully arranged as usual. The sight was ethereal, and I was ever so grateful I was one of the few, who got this view. My phone buzzed suddenly, and I checked to see who it was from.

It was going to be much more liberating without him. I knew as much. He was like a pest. Getting over him would be hard though, but you had her. You had Pieck. It had been a little over a month since you met and you were already really close friends.

"Pieck!" I yelled as I saw her approaching in the distance. She waved back, but with her other hand, she clung onto a guy. His hair was slicked back and he was taller than Pieck. He didn't look like her, so surely, it's not her relative.

"Y/n! Meet Porco. My boyfriend!" She exclaimed excitedly. He smiled and reached his hand out for me to shake, but I didn't shake it. I eyed him and gave him a dead look.

"Nice to meet you, y/n. Pieck has told me a lot about you." He said and I frowned, knowing it was an act. He clearly just didn't want to make things awkward. Neither did I, so I kept the act going.

"Nice to meet you too, Porco." I gave him a fake smile, which I think he acknowledged, because I heard him let out a faint scoff. Pieck grapped both my wrists and brought them in front of me.

"You should come with Porco and I to the museum! We were going to check out the new exhibit they got a few days ago." I stared at her as she squaled. Porco didn't look excited or moved in in slightest. In fact, he wasn't even paying any attention... and it was starting to piss me off.

"Sure, I'll come. I'll invite a friend of mine to come along, if you don't mind?" I said as I smiled lazily and glanced at Porco, giving him a dirty smirk. He looked at me seemingly unbothered, but his clenched fists told me otherwise.

"Of course! Amazing! I'll see you at the museum, then!" She gave me a gentle hug and smiled before turning around and walking away with Porco. What a terrible boyfriend.

I was at the entrance to the museum as I saw Ash approach. He looked dapper, but casual. I clung onto his arm as my heels were eating away at my feet. Dang it. Maybe I should've gone casual and with sneakers instead. I sighed.

"You really should've worn different shoes." Ash laughed as I clung onto him for support. We walked inside and met Pieck and Porco. She's... she's gorgeous... I quickly caught myself staring before she did. Unfortunately, well... maybe fortunately, Porco had caught me staring. He shot me a deadly glare but I smiled back at him. My eyes diverted back to Pieck. She was wearing a deep green longsleve dress with a turtleneck. I had the sudden urge to-
