My sister's hair flailed in the wind, as she stood by the cliff. I was right behind her. The cabin was out of sight, but I knew the way back.

"I wish I was as strong as you, y/n." She scoffed. She turned around and looked at me. Her eyes looked bloodshot but her expression was calm. My small hands were dirty from playing all day, but I still ran towards her to give her a hug.

"No way! You're way stronger than me! I always loose when we arm wrestle!" I giggled and nuzzled my face into her stomach. She hugged me lightly and laughed at my comment. To which I pouted and told her I was right.

"I may surpass you in physical strength, but you win when it comes to mental strength." I didn't know what she meant by that, so I just smiled at her.

"Should we go back to get some food? I'm starving!" She simply shook her head slowly and turned around, facing the edge if the cliff again.

"But we've been here for such a long time!" I barked. She mumbled something inaudible.

"Go on ahead. I'll come later." I nodded my head and started walking, before she suddenly called my name.

"I love you so much, y/n. Don't look back, just keep walking." Her soft voice hit my ear drums. It was melancholic, but I could sense some sort of peace in the undertones of it. My curiosity getting the best of me, I turn around. My sister was gone. She was nowhere to be seen.

"S/n? Where'd you go?!" I screamed. Tears started to cover my cheeks, as the sun was setting. My legs gave out under me and I fell to the ground. I couldn't stop crying. The faint sound of my mother calling my name emitted from the forest. I got up and brushed my clothes off.

"Could she have descended down the cliff and onto another cliff?" I asked myself and looked over the edge.

I froze. There she was. S/n. A sharp spike of some sort was pierced through her torso. Her eyes were drained of life and her hair that once flailed in the wind, was now scattered beside her fresh corpse. The blood was thick and it dripped from the tip of the spike. I screamed. Soon, my mother made it to my location and picked me up.

Why are you crying, y/n? Did your sister pull a prank on you again?" My mother rocked me and slid a strand of my hair behind my small ear.

"S-s/n..." I sniffled and pointed to the edge. My mother's expression changed from that of a jolly one, to an emotionless one.

"See, y/n. This is a perfect example of a weak human being. She was her own downfall." My mother started walking towards the cabin, but I screamed. I couldn't leave my sister all alone like that. I felt sick to my stomach. The image kept playing in my head. Over and over again. Yet... my mother didn't care.

We were sitting at the dinner table. It was as if nothing had happened. My parents were talking like any other day. I picked at the food with my fork. I couldn't bring myself to eat. I didn't get how my parents could be so unaffected by what happened less than 2 hours ago. Would they act like this is s/n had been me? I wanted to scream.

Small timeskip
(y/n is 17 here)

"Fuck you! You guys are sick. Sick in the head! Both of you!" I screamed as I slammed my left fist against the table. My mother just stared at me, but my father...

"Don't tell me you're as weak as s/n was back then." He spat. I felt a burning sensation inside of me. I was fuming.

"What the fuck is actually wrong with you?!" I yelled in fury. My eyes were nearly popping put of my skull with rage. My mother put the tip of her fingers to her mouth as she began chuckling. Disgusting.

"Now I see why S/n died. She died to gain freedom. She died to be free of you psychopaths!" I bellowed and ran upstairs to pack my things. I couldn't stay here anymore. I needed to get away from these people. These monsters.

"–and where are you going with all those bags?" My father laughed as I was making my way to the door.

"My boyfriend's." I gritted my teeth and turned around to face my father. His arms were crossed and his expression was stoic. Typical.

"You think he'd care?" My mother butt in. I was a laughing stock.

"He actually would. Unlike you." I spat. She merely rolled her eyes as my dad took a step closer to me whilst smirking.

"Come on now. Just stay. It's not like running away will bring your pathetic  excuse of a sister back." I wanted to tear his face apart.

"What if that was me?" His face contorted into amusement. I felt disgusted by it. By his presence.

"So what if it had been you? What difference would that make?" He tried to argue but I slapped him across the face and spat. He wiped off the spit swiftly.

"You disgust me. You're not human. You're monsters. Why did you even have children?" With that, I left. Slamming the door behind me. I heard the faint sound of laughter. My body was freezing, but hot at the same time.

I made my way to Reiner's house. The weather wasn't much help either. I was sweating like crazy. I felt like I was being boiled alive.

As I finally made it to my boyfriend's house, I knocked just hard enough for him to notice. He opened the door and I was greeted with a smile.

"Hey Reiner... thanks for letting me stay with you." I looked at my shoes, too embarrassed to say or do anything else. He put his hands on my shoulders and chuckled deeply. Which made me blush intensely.

"I'm glad you texted me about that, and more so; glad that you decided to stay here. With me." He pulled me in for a hug. His arms felt cold. Probably because the sun was scorching outside and he had air-conditioning inside.

"Thank you so much though. How will I ever repay you?" He stared deeply into my eyes and pulled my chin with two of his fingers. I slowly closed my eyes as he leaned in. Our lips connected in a sporadic movement. It got hotter and hotter. I threw my luggage in a corner somewhere and helped him take his shirt off.

"You're so hot." Reiner breathed and ripped off my tube top. He stared at me; his eyes hungry for more. More than just a kiss. More than just simple love. He wanted control. He wanted everything. All of me...

... and I let him take everything.

Ik this seemed a bit off-track and it was pretty messy, but trust me; it's an important asset to the story later on.

With that being said, I'll have to skip out on updating next week, as I'm moving. BUT!! The week after that, I promise to do a double upload🌸💞

Well then...

Tysm for reading and don't forget to vote if you liked it💞🌸🕊
