I was dreading this day. What happened to being independent when starting college? Fucking parents evening. Pieck was walking beside me. Her hair was tied into a messy ponytail has her long skirt flowed with the movement of her legs.
"I mean... it can't be that bad!" She tried cheering me up. The problem was... that it was bad. Really bad.
"That's easy for you to say. You have a father." She looked at me, shocked with a mix of apologetic features.
"Oh, it's not like mine is gone. He's just... not really a dad."
"I only have my dad. I'm excited to see him after what- a year?" She smiled and skipped in front of me, turning around and smiling at me. I smirked and caught up with her. As I did, I ruffled her hair a bit whilst chuckling.
"I'm sure your mother must be a nice soul at least?" She wasn't sure of her question, and to be honest; I wouldn't be either.
