I can't believe it...

Finally..!

After 35 years...

It's done.

My plan has been completed...

"M'lady?"

I look back at Visayas who's smiling at me widely, I smiled back and ran towards him to hug him tightly.

He chuckles and pats my head. "Congratulations.... I'm so proud of you..." He whispered, I couldn't help but sob in joy.

"Thank you for everything..." I lift my head up to look at him, he smiles and kisses my forehead.

It's done. We can finally open our country for everyone to see!

"Phila, you're up." I look at my older who has a small smile on his face, a bit of wrinkles too. I nodded and gave him a hug before going out and stepping into the stage for my announcement.

I just hope that... Once we open again...all that I've worked for wouldn't go to waste... I hope that my people would still remain loyal, proud, and disciplined once we lowered the dome..

I let out a shaky breath before tapping the microphone to see if it worked. I cleared my throat before taking a deep breath,

"Goodmorning everyone, and since I don't want to bore you all with a long greeting, my excitement has convinced me to just get straight to the point."

"It is my greatest pleasure to announce that once the dome has been removed, years of isolation will be abolished, and we can all go back and interact with the rest of the world once again..."

Loud cheers began to erupt, cameras started flashing, and everal news reporters started asking questions, but I hold my hand up, and everyone to become quiet once again.

"And in doing so, I hope that you will all remain to be loyal and faithful to our beloved kingdom, and continue to be disciplined so our nation to could rise up even more."

As the small announcement came to an end, everyone was once again allowed to cheer and take photos, I didn't allow any further questions and thanked everyone who came before stepping off the stage and going to the back.

I hugged my brother and Visayas tightly as I couldn't help but feel euphoric.

It's been two days, the dome has been lowered, but there is one dome that remained. Two islands from the north, where the rising population of Philippine eagles had been moved so they could move freely and not caged while also being monitored daily.

I sighed, feeling contented as I opened my closet ready to get donate clothes that I no longer use.

One by one I started getting rid of  clothes that were too small for me.

"Hm?"

I looked down to see something that looked green and old, I picked it up and suddenly felt tears forming in the corner of my eyes.
