49 - Last One

Ally's P.O.V.

I quickly gather all my stuff and make my way towards the elevator. I finished my korean lessons early today, so I had the rest of the evening off. As I was waiting for the elevator, I checked my phone to see if Jungkook had responded to me, but I came to find that he hadn't read my text yet. It seemed a little odd since I knew he didn't have any activities for today, so I decided to go look for him to see if he was here.

Once I get off the elevator, I walk through the halls to see if I could find him. After a while of searching, I was unsuccessful. Coming to the conclusion that he wasn't here, I decided to head home.

On my way to the elevator, I pass by a practice room and see someone dancing. I stopped for a second to see who and my whole mood was lifted when I saw that it was Jungkook.

He looked really focused, so not wanting to interrupt him, I quietly open the door and make my way in. He hasn't noticed me at all yet, so I decided to sit down against the wall and watch him.

I've seen Jungkook dance many times, but never up close and when he was by himself, especially when practicing. His moves flowed with each other and he just moved so effortlessly as if his body knew the dance moves by heart and soul.

After a couple of minutes, his dancing finally came to an end. I couldn't contain myself from not clapping since even his practices were like perfect performances.

JK's P.O.V.

Startled, I quickly turned my head to whoever was here and it was none other than Ally. Like always, a small smile formed on my lips almost like a natural reaction whenever I see her, but then I wiped it off.

Ally texted me a few times earlier today, but I didn't read them for a reason. Having to break up with her was affecting me already that lately I've been a little distant from her. I'm not sure if she's noticed or not, but she hasn't shown any sign that she knows.

Ally's P.O.V.

He walked over to where I was sitting and sat down next to me. He was dripping in sweat, but for some reason I found it a bit attractive. He grabbed his towel and started wiping his face.

"Aren't you supposed to be training right now?" He grabbed his bottle of water and took a long sip.

"It ended early, so now I have the rest of the evening off."

I waited for Jungkook to be happy at the thought that I got out early so we could spend time together, but all he did was just nod and nothing else. Jungkook seemed off today for some reason. He usually always reads my texts right away or hugs me whenever he sees me. He's been like this for a while...

I quickly shook those thoughts away since I thought it could just be stress from all the award shows he's been doing and the new album that they are going to release soon.

"Come on, I'll walk you home." He gets up from where he is sitting and stretches his hand out for me. I smile at his kind gesture and then proceed to take his hand as he helps me up.

JK's P.O.V.

Even though I've been distant from Ally, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't enjoying the time we were spending together right now. It's been 3 weeks since the last time we hung out at my house, so I had to cherish this moment I had with her because I had no idea when I would ever spend time with her again, especially this close.

Ally was currently catching me up about everything that has been happening to her with her new life as a trainee. I could see the bright smile on her face whenever she talked about it. She seemed really happy...
