"Go make yourself fucking useful, Y/n."

"Don't you dare speak to me like that."

"I'll speak to you however the fuck I want. You're in my house."

"You begged me to leave my family and live with you in your house and this is how you're gonna fucking treat me?"

Miles scoffed. "Like you wanted to stay with your family anyways. Don't act fucking stupid."

"You're acting fucking stupid, Miles. You would've been begging on your knees if I didn't agree to you."

"Oh please, you're not that fucking special!"

You felt your heart sink. Those words stung. You felt a wave of hurt flow through your body but that hurt, suddenly turned into anger.

You reached next to you and threw the picture frame that once rested peacefully on the desk.

Miles quickly ducked and the frame hit the wall behind him with a loud crash followed by the shattering of glass.

"You fucking crazy bitch! What the hell is wrong with you!?"

You rushed out of the room, almost bumping into Flora, Kate, and Ms. Grose who were all standing in the hallway. You're sure they heard all the words that were yelled along with the crash. They were coming to see what was going on.

"Y/n, are you o-"
You pushed past them and ran down the stairs, heading towards the front door.

"Get out! Get the fuck out!" Miles slammed the door in Kate's face when she tried to ask him what was going on.

You ran out the front door and to the garden.
Once you sat yourself down on the grass, the tears started flowing in.

You sobbed on the wet grass under the pale moonlight.
You didn't have many options of what you could do in this situation. Your family wouldn't let you back in their house after you ran away to live with a boy.

'You're not that fucking special.'
Miles' harsh words replayed in your head.

And then, you heard the grass crunching under someone's footsteps. Fucking Kate, you thought.

You sniffled and tried wiping your tears away with your sleeve before she approached you.

"Leave me alone, Kate." You mumbled without looking at her.

But, she didn't respond. You turned around and to your surprise, no one was there. You could've sworn those were footsteps you heard but you shook your head. Must have been a rabbit.

You turned back around and gasped when you saw a figure standing in front of you. You put your hands flat on the grass behind you and back away from the figure.

The figure got closer, now making it easier for you to see. It was a man. But, he looked...odd. Ghostly, was the best way you could put it.

You were too frightened to open your mouth to speak. You just kept slowly backing up from the figure. But, he kept getting closer.
