Chapter five ~ coming clean

Lexi Barnes' Pov
"Ok everyone out she fine now you all, have work or school, me and Lexi are fine."Liam said."Hey is that a tattoo bub?" He asked me.
"Yes I got them a while ago let me get a vest so I am covered so then you can see it."

I grabbed my vest and threw my hoodie into my wash basket, I replaced it with my vest, and the applied some concealer to my bruises from the last beating I got from ma'am.

"Here you go my tattoos in all there glory." I joked.
"I have seen them somewhere before." He mumbled "czarna Dalia."
"no, questo è il nostro piccolo segreto, per favore non possono saperlo. anche questa conversazione non è mai avvenuta." I said
(no, this is our little secret, please they can't know. this conversation also never took place)
"Now can we please try and sleep, I am exhausted and if I don't sleep I won't be able to answer Lucas' questions." I said sighing.
"Baby do you want to take the headphones out?" He asked me honestly concerned for me.

"Li, if I do that I will not be able to hear you or read your lips because of the dark." I said sighing.
"...." he looked at me confused.
"They are hearing aids, don't think too hard you'll get brain damage." I joked "You broke over there."
"She has emotions, I repeat she has emotions." He said smiling like a serial killer.
"Can you stop that you look scary bro." I said giggling at his face.
"You should laugh and smile more, we are here for you, you can talk to us about anything." Liam said rubbing his hand in a circle on my back.
"You know the story of the black dahlia, well that is all false I didn't kill anyone I just like the name I originally gave my name in Polish because it was pretty but then Dani taught me English and about serial killers, I was really into it so I just kept my name. I got into street fighting and street racing which gave me an outlet for like my energy I have ADHD so it was like a release." I said.
" I am sorry, we didn't know." Liam said looking sad.
"It's ok, no one saw it coming, can you help me take them out please." I said grabbing them and trying to twist it out showing Liam what to do, he did the same thing for my other ear. I remained sat cuddling with Liam who was running his hands through my hair, not long after I wound up falling asleep, for once I didn't have a nightmare. Liam woke me up because he was aware of my hearing aids being out, so he helped me put them in.
I lost my hearing in an attempt the German mafia made to try and kill me one of there assassins slipped up and managed to mess up the detonation of the bomb and the explosion caused a massive explosion which messed up my hearing both of my ear drums burst so my only option was hearing aid but the NHS meant that I didn't have to pay loads for them , I got a second pair just in case I damage my current ones.

Because my brothers are ignorant I decided to switch them out to my second base because they are the more noticeable.I changed into something other than my pyjamas and headed down stairs.

I walked into the kitchen and sat next to Laurence, who was staring at his phone with a steaming mug of coffee in front of him it looked amazing so I just took it. To be completely honest it was a lot weaker than I normally have my coffee so I placed the mug back down on the counter, as I walked over to the kettle and boiled it but I couldn't hear it, oops my aids are turned off.
"What did I miss lads?" I said smirking at the theatre reference.
"Are you Aaron Burr sir?" Liam said trying to keep a straight face.
"Yay! Finally a fellow theatre kid." I shouted hugging him.
"Why didn't you respond to our shouts for you, "Laurence asked.
"You have three guesses but Liam isn't allowed to help you." I said going back to making myself coffee.
"Wait your deaf." Leo said.
"Yup, wanna see one of my hearing aids they have dad's tattoos on them I always felt a connection to him that way." I said staring at the floor.
"Come here." Laurence said taking my coffee he must have noticed the strength of it.
"Are you try to avoid sleeping forever or something?" Laurence asked me chuckling.
"what kind of caffeine addict did Mary raise?" Leo said smirking at me.
"Mary did not raise me. Let me get one thing straight no one parented me ma'am wasn't there for me. Mary did not raise me." I ran out of the kitchen with tears streaming down my face, I could feel an episode coming on so I ran outside not caring about all the boys following me. Once outside I found the found the nearest tree and began to hit it with all my might, however I only got in a couple of punches before one of my brothers grabbed me off it. At this moment I just needed a smoke, but I am pretty sure my brothers would kill me if they saw me hold a cigarette let alone smoking one. I turned round to see that Lucas and Levi had been the ones to get me off of the tree, I clung to my twin for dear life.
"I love you twinny. Let's head inside I will warn the demons that you don't want to have to talk yet." Levi said smirking at our brothers who looked shocked.
"Gladly lead the way bro." I replied smirking as well.
