I woke up, today around 5:30. I can't sleep anymore, too many nightmares. I got up and went on a walk to clear my mind. As I walked past Thomas's house, I can see a shadow of him doing working out. Only he wakes up as early as I do. I shake my head and head to the park. I sit on the swing. Just thinking.
"1 year ago"
"Thomas! Stop staring at those girls!" I had grumbled.
It was a tutoring session. We went to the mall, to practice percents and sales tax. Don't ask if his methods were something.
"Why Hannah, you jealous?" He smirked
I rolled my eyes
"No dip shit, you are setting a bad example to Jayden." I motioned over to my little brother who was happily eating Icecream and winking at the same girls Thomas had.
"Aww, Hannah don't be such a buzzkill. Jayden is practicing to become a ladies man like me, aren't you Jayden?'' Thomas winked at him.
'' Yea Kylie! Don't be such a buzzkill "Jayden said
I glared at the duo.
Jayden. Tears started coming up slowly before dripping down my face. I started breathing faster and harder. I didn't know I had passed out until someone was shaking me awake.
"Hannah! Hannah! Please wake up!" It was Thomas.
I slowly opened my eyes. And tried to stand up. After failing twice he finally gave me his hand to stand up. I took it and we looked into the eyes of each other for a bit. So brown. Until he broke the silence.
"Do you want to talk about what happened?" He asked slowly
"No" I stated firmly.
"Hannah, I was jogging, saw you crying then hypervillinating and then fainting. Tell me what's going on!" He said seriously.
Like he cared, Thomas looked so worried then... I almost broke down crying.
So vulnerable, so weak.
That's all I am.
"No!" I shouted. Tears started coming back up again. I turned away from him and started sprinting back home.
