Eda fiddled with the key.

It's been a week since she had that talk with them.

"Should we finally go and check up on them, King?" She hummed.

King sat up stopping on his doodling to listen.

"I dunno, should we now??" He shrugged before asking, "I mean, you said one of them was hurt real bad, right?"

Eda smiled patting his skull.

"Ok, ok, that's true but he should be good to come with us now." She said.

"Why are you bringing the rest anyway? Don't you only need just Luz? Isn't that why you also made me come pick her up to save you when you would've easily saved yourself instead?" King wondered.

Eda laughed shrugging.

"Luz won't come with us unless all of them come too. It's a win on both sides I guess." She said.

King set the crayons aside and stood up dusting himself over nothing.

"Ok, let's go," he agreed.

"It's time to depart!"

"¿¡Qué diablos le hiciste a mi mamá otra vez !?"

Eda did another sleep spell on Camila again.

"I did a sleep spell on her, and where are the others?? We need to get going before she wakes up." Eda looked around and over Luz's shoulder.

Luz sighed. There was no point crying over her mom who just fell back asleep.

"I told Amity and her siblings to hide with Willow and Boscha for the time being that my mom was here but they'll be here right about..."

"Luz!"

"Now..."

Amity rushed past Eda and over to her.

"Are you alright? She didn't do anything did she!?" She glared fire at Eda who took a step back for them.

"No, no," Luz sighed before asking, "and is everybody here?"

"Yep!" Gus waved. He looked better than before now, what a relief.

"Gus!" Luz smiled seeing him in better shape.

"Are you ok now?? You're not feeling weak anymore, right??" She asked while checking for his temperature.

Gus laughed nodding.

"Matt and Willow took really good care of me!" He chimed.

Luz awed saluting Willow.

"It's the best I can do to take responsibility of being careless and leaving you to yourself too often than necessarily needed." Matt frowned lowering his gaze to the ground.

Gus reached a hand up. He can't reach.

"Can you lower yourself a bit?" He asked.

Matt blinked lowering himself a bit by request.

He flinched when Gus suddenly patted his head.

"There, there," Gus assured him.

Matt mentally choked pulling himself away.

"Huh? What's wrong?" Gus hummed.

Willow frowned.

Luz awed by this interaction.

"Hehehh... Matt really is cute." She laughed.

"What..!?" Matt perked up feeling his face grow redder.

Boscha scoffed looking off.

"Hahh... I can't believe Mattholomule grew this weak and soft over a pat in the head by his own boyfriend." Murmuring, she snickered hiding her cocky grin.

"I heard that!" Matt hissed at her.

"You're hearing things." Willow brushed him off.

"What!? Why on earth are you protecting such a cocky Guardian!?" Matt frowned.

Boscha stood behind Willow and blew a raspberry at him.

She was really picking on his nerves with childish insults.
