Rashmeet was busy in his work when he heard a knock on his door. " Come in " said he and there stood his P.A Srushti entering his cabin.

" Sir , this is Mr. Singhania's birthday invitation for you. He has personally informed me to give this to you. " She said as she handed the invitation to him.

Rashmeet nodded and smiled at her. Srushti nodded and went. She was baffled to her boss smiling. Because , Rashmeet Desai smiling was a rare sight to see. And surely not infront of his employees and personal assistant where he was always seen cold and grumpy.

She felt it suspicious when one of the employee came out with a smiling face. The news was he had asked for a holiday for two days as he had to visit his pregnant wife who stayed at his in-laws. And surprisingly , the boss has agreed and permitted him and the cherry on the cake was that he had spotted his not-so-smiling boss smiling!!!

Srushti smiled as she remembered , her boss now was married! A news , which only she knew and was kept still private as said by her boss. Srushti was a good person and she was loyal and trustworthy for Rashmeet. So she had kept the promise. So , no-one except her knew.

Rashmeet winded up his work and saw the time 9.00 pm. Everyone else were already dismissed. He even let Srushti go. He read the invitation and now his mind wandered to Meera. Mr. Singhania had congratulated him for his wedding-where he mentioned that his father gave him the news and he would like to see his new wife for the party.

Now that , Mr. Singhania has known and the fact that Rashmeet now has accepted her as his wife he was ready to take her for tomorrow's function. He took the invitation card and left for home.

When he rang the doorbell , the door was opened in minutes and he saw his blooming wife standing at the door. All his exhaustion and tiredness was gone by the sight of his smiling wife.

Meera heated the food and waited for him to come. By the time , Rashmeet got freshen and came down for dinner. Meera served him and sat opposite to him. Geeta was asleep by now as she was a early riser.

" How was your day? " She asked.

" Good. " He replied and she smiled.
