Anew. By M.E.

In her eyes there are emotions,
Spread out like the oceans.
Who could have thought
She would be caught?
By love and by friendship,
She now has kinship.
And when the light fades away,
They say they're here to stay.

Next to the morning dew,
She promises to start anew.
They glisten like tears,
Just like her fears.
But she won't be afraid anymore
She knows deep in her core,
They won't leave her,
She's found a cure.
