Ring around the rosies,
A pocketful of posies,
Monsters are screaming in my head,
All I feel is pain and dread.

Ring around the rosies,
A pocketful of posies
That they gave to me,
Just before they disappeared into the sea.

Ring around the rosies,
A pocketful of posies,
I remember the happiness I had,
I never saw that they were sad.

Ring around the rosies,
A pocketful of posies,
I should have tried to pull them back,
But my arms went slack.

Ring around the rosies,
A pocketful of posies,
I tried, I did,
But my grip slid.

Ring around the rosies,
A pocketful of posies,
Wish I could say I'm sorry
But are they, to me?

Ring around the rosies,
A pocketful of posies,
Did they ever care
That I was there to stare?

Ring around the rosies,
A pocketful of posies,
I do what they did,
To the world, goodbye, I bid.
