"areum, do you want to know who you are?" he spoke out

her eyes widened when she realized what he said, her head slowly turned to him again, "w-what?" she stuttered

"w-what?"

i thought i was... just abandoned. nothing special about it. i thought i was just a regular person. how does he know things about me that i myself don't know?

his words shook me to my core, maybe this time i'll have real answers. maybe, after wondering for so long about who i was, i'll finally find out. maybe my nightmares will stop. finally

"do you want to know the truth about your parents?" he repeated the question

"y-yes" i stuttered, seungcheol made me look up at him by touching my arm, "sit down on the couch" he whispered to me

i reluctantly got out of his hold and slowly went to sit on the couch, trying to not get close to kai, he chuckled as he watched me walk. he too started to walk and sat on the couch across from me, taemin sitting behind him and seungcheol behind me too

"where do i start?" he chuckled, earning a small groan from seungcheol, "just get to the point" he huffed

"fine fine" he waved his hand softly in the air, making me flinch. the last time he waved his hands he sent mingyu flying to the wall, he terrifies me to my core

"your real name is moon selene, you were born to bae suji and lee jongsuk, they are your parents" he spoke with a bored expression and tone

"they're my parents" i whispered to myself, repeating his words

"they were common people, part of the lower working class and they were extremely poor." he laid back on the couch, relaxing. "areum you are the reincarnation of moon selene, the goddess of moonlight, and i can sense when i are reborn, so to speak"

"h-how do you k-know that? how c-can you sense that?" my words were shaky

"because my real name is ambriogo, i was the first vampire and selene was the woman i loved, we are connected for eternity. one day your memories of being selene will comeback and when that day comes you should come and find me, because you will no longer be areum. you will be a completely different person" he stared me to down, every once in a while looking at my fidgety hands, he had a determined face. he wants my memories to come back, he wants the woman he loves to come back

"that won't happened, i'll never leave them" i whispered underneath my breath, i looked down at my hands, watching them shake

"that's what you believe" he smirked, "your parents were so poor, that when they found out they were having you, they didn't know what to do so when i came to say that i would buy you from them, your father and grandmother said yes in a heart beat" he smirked
