LEAVES CRUNCHED under your feet as you walked leisurely, eyes wandering aimlessly as you took in all the greenery around you. you held the handle of the small woven basket in your hands, swinging it by your side as you walked.

"where are we even going?" tsukishima asked, hovering behind you to let you take the lead.

"to eat lunch."

"in the middle of the woods?"

"no, at that field of flowers we saw yesterday!" you clarified, a hint of enthusiasm to your tone as you pranced on. "unless you'd rather eat at the camp site with everyone else?"

"absolutely not," tsukishima objected, making a face. "i don't know what diseases those people or that food holds."

you snorted at his dramatic behavior, "you are so rude," you shook your head in mock disappointment. when you heard the sound of water, you smiled, knowing you were drawing closer to the destination.

"i'm just being honest," he shrugged, bumping into you when you abruptly stopped. "what, are you lost?" a smug look on his face as he looked out at the sparkling body of water before him.

shaking your head, you slowly approched the large tree in front of you, hiding behind it and crouching down. grabbing the camera hanging from your neck, you looked into the lens, tsukishima's gaze following yours.

you pointed the camera at the majestic-looking fox that was drinking from the stream, its bold red fur being enhanced by the sun's harsh rays. angling the camera correctly, you snapped slow and steady pictures, making sure you could capture the animal in all it's glory.

satisfied with the pictures, you stood up, a bright smile on your face, "okay, lets go," you picked up the basket and let go of the camera.

turning to tsukishima, you froze, him doing the same. you knew you heard crunching, but you thought that it was just the leaves under your feet.

"tsukishima... how did you even get that?? that was all the way inside the basket!" you exclaimed, watching him shamelessly stuff green apple slices in his mouth, causing his cheeks to grow bigger.
