Chapter 17

---Kasumi----

It took me 3 days to reach the village. I guess this is why Tsunade said it would take me a week, even at my speed. 

I couldn't help but wonder if they are all ok.. I mean everyone that went after Sasuke. They are all my friends... and Kiba. The Hokage didn't actually tell me what would happen to them... He just told me about the basics that were happening. Like who went after him... Naruto, Shikamaru, Choji, Neji, Lee and Kiba.. 

I shook my head. Forget them. I need to focus on this mission. I thought as I approached the village. I was obviously in a diguise so he wouldn't know I'm a ninja. Heck I just look like some kid! It's so  easy for me to hide if I need too. 

I was in long pants that were covered in mud and dust, a singlet that was also covered in dirt and it was too big for me. 

But I'm not dumb enough to go into that village without my weapons. I carried them in my pockets but no one could see. 

I walked into the town, walking slowly and stumbling so it looks like I'm dying but it actually helps me get a better view of how people are here. 

They are all dying inside. I can see their sadness in their faces but mostly in their eyes.  They'll all mourning. 

I sighed and carried on walking, I made my way over to what looks like a food place. I used my gen jitsu to hide myself as I listened to their conversations.

"Did you hear.." said one.

"Hear what? Is it anything good?" asked the second.

"No. It's Takashi. He's...he's.."

"No don't tell me.. Not him too.."

They both broke into tears. Poor souls, I thought. I am so going to kill this son of a bitch. 

Wait a second. I thought. Why am I dressed like this if I can just hide myself with my gen jitsu!? GOD I'm an idiot. 

---Kiba---

I woke up in the hospital. I'm still alive. I thought wait where's Akamaru!? I quickly looked left and found Akamaru next to me. I calmed down. Hey I'm not dead and neither is he. I thought. That's always a good sign!

I tried sitting up but I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. FUCK! I thought before falling back down. Well that failed. What the hell happened to me?

"K-Kiba." said a vocie to my right, I looked and saw Hinata. 

"Hinata?" I said. "What are you doing here?"

"I was told to k-keep an eye on y-you and make s-sure you don't open up y-your wonds again. So don't g-get up."

I sighed and leaned back.

"Hey Hinata," I asked

"Y-yeah?"

"Is Kasumi still on her mission?" 

"I think so.. I haven't seen her.."

I just nodded.

I just hope she's ok. Ha I wonder what she'll say when she sees me like this? Hopefully she won't. Other wise I'll never hear the end of it!

OK. I've been in my gen jitsu this whole time yet I stil have no idea where this guy is!!! What the hell?! These people are useless!!
