Cabir's pov

I walked out of the guest room to attend my mother's call... walking to the door of the back garden i stood there when my eyes fell on a person's frame... just then there was a presence beside me... i looked at on the side to see rohan standing with his one hand in his pocket and the other one was holding a cold drink can... his eyes moved to me and then at back at the garden saying...

Rohan: what is going on with him now?

I looked at the person who was sitting on the grass looking at the sky...

Me: I don't know, but it must be related to nandini!

He just hmmed while i walked to the kitchen and taking two cans came out to see rohan still standing there while thinking something... i elbowed him and then asked him to come...

Soon both of us walked to manik... sitting on his either side we got his attention making him look at us... i passed him the can to took it and again looked at the sky...

Me: what happened manik?

I asked making him look at me while i kept looking at the sky.... i heard him huffing before he criss cross his legs and looking down took a deep breath...

Rohan: is it about nandini?

I heard him and looked at manik who was looking down and nodded his head before saying...

Manik: The doctor called me today after the engagement party!

He said making us look at each other before lookibg at him who continued....

Manik: she told me that her anemia is all treated, but the operation for her legs, they don't know it will be successful or not!
Rohan: what does it mean?

He asked with a frown same as mine... while manik looked at the sky telling us...

Manik: there are only 30% chances of her to walk again!

He looked at us for a second before...

Manik: i just don't want to tell her, she wants that to happen, i also want that, but I don't want her to lose her hope!

I ended and then fell on his back laying on the ground while we two looked at each other....

Me: but you have to manik, you have to tell her and make her know that her hope is going to win anyhow!

I said to him who was still gazing the stars... we three sat there all silent when i saw jeff coming... but before i could say anything she ran to rohan and fell on his hugging him from back... rohan looked above his head and smiled kissing her cheek...

Jeff: what are you guys doing here? Come lets go inside!

Manik smiled looking at her and got up before asking...

Manik: nandini slept?
Jeff: no she is waiting for you!

He nodded and walked inside... soon rohan to left with jeff while i sat there looking at the sky... when i felt her sitting beside me holding my arm... i looked on the side to see navya... she passed me a smile...

Navya: don't you wanna go inside?

I just looked at the sky and then said...

Me: was thinking something so sat here only!

She hmmed before placing her head on my shoulder....

Navya: cabir aisa kya ho sakta hai jo nandini aj asy hai? Wo hum sab sy dur ku gai thi? (Cabir what it can be that nandini is like this today? Why she went away from us?)

I gluped and told her the only thing i knew...

Me: I don't know the whole thing navya, but the thing i know is that in all this they lost their most precious person!

I remembered how i saw them in the hospital as they went to a gynaecologist... i stood there waiting for them and having me there they told me about her anemia making me ask them more questions which ended on them telling me about the lose of their baby... i was so shocked to react... I didn't knew how they would have left....

Navya looked at me with a frown on which i said ignoring the topic...

Me: lets go inside its already late, we have to go back tomorrow morning...

Saying so i stood up while she looked at me asking...

Navya: what were you saying cabir?

I smiled and nodded in no saying...

Me: i am just praying that nandini gets fine, not fot anyone else but for manik!

She nodded saying...

Navya: she will be fine soon!

I smiled at her and then went back inside...
