"YOU'RE LEAVING?" Ben asked from the door frame, it was the next day and I was making sure I had everything before going to the burrow, and I nodded.

"I'm Ben by the way, nice to meet you. Lyra right?" Ben introduced himself to Lyra who was sitting on my bed,

"yes! it's great to meet you too" She said politely with a smile before turning to me with a 'this is ben?' kind of look and I shook my head in amusement,

"um I just—you mentioned that it was your birthday a few months ago and it's not much but your Mum told me you really liked books so I chose a few of my favorites and thought I'd give them to you. some are annotated too if you like that kind of thing" He said holding up a brown gift bag that look like it had at least four books. I kind of just stood there for a moment trying to register what he said,

"I can just leave it here" he said motioning to my table and I snapped out of it,

"thank you, I really appreciate" I said still a bit surprised, taking the bag from him and setting it on the table.

"it's really no—oh okay" he stopped himself as I hugged him, he was a bit tense at first than relaxed, wrapping his arm around me.

"really, thank you Ben. you didn't have to" I insisted as I pulled away and he looked like he was holding back a smile,

"really, it's no problem Mara. enjoy your stay at the Weasley's. I heard your boyfriend—Fred was it?"

"yes, Fred and his brother George who Lyra is dating" I replied and he nodded,

"I heard they'll be visiting? along with Lorenzo and Xilo correct?" he asked l, genuinely curious,

"Yeah so Lorenzo and Xilo are coming over tomorrow morning if i'm not wrong. They're gonna spend the few days alone while Lyra and I are at the Weasley's then George and Fred are going to come back with us" I explained and he hummed in response.

"well I hope they all enjoy their stay, you two too" he said as he walked out,

"i'll be right back" I said to Lyra who nodded and I quickly left my room catching Ben right before he went down the stairs,

"yes?" he asked a bit confused as I kind of just stood there,

"right um, if it isn't to weird—I would like for you to meet Fred. You could visit while they're visiting or something, you obviously don't have to I just thought—"

"Mara I'd love to" he interrupted me softly,

"oh"

"were you expecting me to say no?" he asked a bit confused and I shook my head,

"oh no I just, didn't think past me asking" I admitted sheepishly and he laughed lightly,

"I hate to keep you from you friend, I'll see you in a few days" he said with a small smile and I returned it before walking back to my room.

"Hey guys come in!" Ginny exclaimed opening the door to the burrow and we both smiled as she hugged us.

"boys! Mara and Lyra are here" Ginny called out and we heard a string of thumps before George and Fred appeared in front of us,

"hello" Fred grinned wrapping his arm around me in a side hug and George did the same to Lyra,
