A FEW DAYS LATER I was sat along with a handful of students, we were all watching people put their names in the cups and Fred and George had just walked in with ageing potions.

I let out an amused laugh from where I was sitting and they both shared a look with each other before raising their eyebrows at me,

"it's obviously not going to work you tosspots" I explained and they both crouched down beside me,

"oh yeah?"

"and why's that Mara?"

"you see this bright white line around the cup? it's an age line, drawn by Dumbledore himself"  I said setting my book down in my lap,

"so?"

"so, something as pathetically dimwitted as an age potion made by you two is not going to fool Dumbledore" I scoffed as they  smirked,

"oh but that's why it's so brilliant"

"because it's perfectly dimwitted"

"right then go on, this'll be entertaining to watch" I said motioning for them to demonstrate. They both smiled and got up.

"ready Fred?"

"ready George"

"bottoms up!" they both said shaking the vials and drinking the potion, they jumped inside the line and the room went quiet for a second before everyone started to cheer.

"yeahhh!" they both cheered as they dropped their names into the cup,

Flames suddenly shot around everywhere and the twins were thrown across the room,

"you said?!"

"you said?!"

I rolled my eyes and laughed lightly as they started to tumble around on the floor, the hall got quiet as Victor Krum walked in with his headmaster behind him. He raised his hand and dropped his name into the cup and his eyes met mine and his lips lifted into a tiny smile, I returned it as he walked away.

"poor boy" I mumbled as a very shaken Harry joined Cedric, Krum and Fleur Delacour.

"hey they don't call him the chosen one for nothing" Lyra joked and I sent her a look.

"yes yes poor Harry" Enzo spoke up sarcastically as we all got up to go back to our common rooms.

"Harry! wait up" I said as harry walked very determinedly through the courtyard,

"if you've come to say that I'm a cheater than I really-oh h-hello Mara" he said turning around and I smiled slightly.

"I wanted to congratulate you" I explained laughing lightly and he smiled his cheeks turning pink,

"sorry it's just all I've been hearing today" he said sheepishly raising his hand to scratch the back of his neck.

"oh no don't worry about it"

"so you believe me right? I didn't put my name in the cup-"

"yes Harry I believe you" I said laughing lightly, and putting my hand on his arm in comfort and he gave me another smile.

Suddenly Harry's expression hardened at someone behind me and turned to see Ron and I furrowed my eyebrows.

"what's up with you and Weasley mini?"

"he thinks I put my name in the cup so he's mad that I 'didn't tell him" he said annoyed before walking towards him, I sighed dramatically and followed him.
