After hopping across the lilypads to Vikk Towers, I walked straight in. Even if the carpet means mobs can't get in, he should still have a door, I thought.

"VIKK!" I yelled.

"WHAT?" he shouted back. I climbed the ladders. Vikk was brewing potions.

"Dammit, that was what I was going to do!" I exclaimed. "I was going to ask to go to the nether, grab some blaze powder and glowstone, make strength potions, pair it with invis, and troll Mitch!"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," he said, eyebrows raised. "Slow down a bit!"

I did.

"Okay, so you basically want to troll Mitch," he said.

"Yeah," I replied.

"Well, I've just been brewing weakness potions for zombie villagers. You're welcome to use my nether portal though!"

I shuffled my feet and looked down. "Can you come with me?"

He chuckled. " 'Course I can, Lil' Lachy!"

I grinned. The pair of us went down to Vikk's portal.

"Ready,Lachy?"

"Yeah!"

I stepped into the portal.

The world was spinning when I landed. "Oiii...Darude!" I pouted.

Vikk pointed to a patch of glowstone. Nodding, I took some cobblestone out of my inventory and began building around it.

Four glowstone...

Seven...

Ten...

Fourteen...

Sixteen...

Nineteen...

Twenty-three...

Twenty-seven...

Thirty...

Thirty-two...

"Vikk!" I yelled. "I've got half a stack here!"

My answer was a faint yelp of pain.

"Vikk?" I yelled, panicked. ""VIKK?!"

When I found him, there was a burn down the side of his face.

"Oh, Vikk," I sighed. "Why didn't you tell me you were fighting blazes?"

He grimaced. "I'm fine, really."

"No. How many blaze rods have you got?"

"Six."

"That's enough," I said firmly. "We're getting out of here."

I stepped back through the portal with Vikk.

"Umm...right. I forgot my portal has a glitch where it connects to Scott and Ryan's place. Well, we'd best be going," Vikk mumbled.

As we walked back to the Salty Lagoon, I grinned. I didn't even know why. It just felt great, striding through a forest with Vikk.
