Your POV
You and Raph stayed in the living room for a long time, around 3 hours by your estimate, sitting huddled together while you calmed down. You now knew that your wrist had something wrong with it, judging by the pain radiating up your arm every time you moved.
"Better?" He smiled at you and you gave a small smile back.
"Better. Thanks Raph," you said giving him a quick hug. He hugged you back then you felt him shiver.
"Anytime. We're all pretty shaken up. If Donnie would just hurry the shell up and come outta his lab already," he grumbled, and you felt his shivering increase.
"I shouldn't have left him," you muttered. He shrugged under you.
"Don't do this to yourself. It's not your fault. The rest of us are just as much to blame." He shivered again, more violently this time. You looked up at his green eyes and smiled.
"You cold?" You smirked. He chuckled.
"I mean, kinda. I've been sitting near ya for too long frosty," he called you by your nickname. Since you had been given, (blessing or curse, you weren't sure) the powers of cold, your constant temperature was chilly, and others sometimes noticed, especially when you were upset. You got even colder when you were angry or sad.
You just smiled up at him and he hugged you once more. You and Raph had always had a close relationship, but more brother-sister than you and Leo. You weren't sure what you and Leo were. You had liked him for a while now, but he never said anything and neither did you. Raph stood up off the couch, his warmth leaving you as he stood and popped his stiff joints. He smiled warmly down at you before ruffling your hair and heading in the direction of the kitchen. You rubbed your sore wrist and bit the inside of your cheek.
You sat in silence until a small creak made you look up. Mikey was peeking cautiously out his room door. You smiled warmly at him when he caught your eyes and he finally came out of his room to sit with you. You could tell that the youngest brother had been crying by the tear stains on his cheeks and his watery blue eyes.
Now this you could handle. You were fine with showing Raph your emotions since he understood, but you had to be strong for the youngest of the four. You and Raph had a brother-sister relationship, and you and Mikey had a very mother-son relationship. You opened your arms up wide as he got to you and his self control flew out the window as he ran the rest of the way to you and buried his face into your chest. You stroked his shell as you heard him sniffle, being careful of your wrist.
"It's okay Mikey. It's okay," you shushed him as he held you tightly. "You didn't get hurt did you?" You asked, worried, when he looked up at you a little. He shook his head no and clutched you tighter, as if he was afraid you would disappear if he let go.
"L-last time t-this happened, L-Leo didn't wake up f-for t-three months," he sniffled and you shifted him into a better position, stroking his shell in circles softly. You couldn't help but feel bad for the young turtle, remembering all that went down during that time. You didn't know everyone that well back then, but now that you think about what Leo and the others went through, it made you feel sick.
"Don't worry Mikey. He's a strong guy. He'll pull through." You told him, but you weren't sure if it was him or yourself you were trying to reassure. But you shook off the thought and smiled down at him.
"What do you say we play some Mario Kart to keep occupied for a while?" You offered and his face got a bit brighter.
"Really?" He asked. You nodded and giggled as he ran for the controllers, the excitement soon wearing down as your thoughts consumed you again.
