Miyeon's pov

It was lunch time,while the whole class was in the cafeteria, I was on the terrace with Jukyung.

It was windy,our hair swayed from left to right,I leaned against the brick wall,and we both stood there in complete silence.

“Do you like seojun?”she asked,her gaze still fixed on the view infront of us

I chocked on my own saliva since she caught me off guard. I patted my chest few times as she passed me her water bottle.

“N-no”I stuttered

Why did I stutter?

She rolled her eyes at me and then folded her arms,she raised an eyebrow and commanded “The truth”

I sighed.

Not gonna lie, I myself didn't know the answer to this question. I just know that it isn't love but it's something.

“I don't know Jukyung,I just know that I am not in love with him. I am confused”I ran a hand through my hair,and shoved my hands in my pockets

“I understand that you can't fall in love with someone just after you meet them but do you get a weird feeling in your stomach when he is near?”She took a long pause and then muttered “maybe Butterflies?”

I nodded.

She smiled“I get it that you are confused,and if you want to know how you feel about him just get to know him. He isn't a bad guy after all. I know Suho must have brainwashed you about how he is a jerk,but he actually isn't, just get to know him”she patted my shoulder and we both sat on the cold floor,her head leaning against my shoulder

“I can't believe you are the one who is giving me love advice when you yourself are confused about your feelings for Suho”I smirked and she had the same reaction as mine

She choked on her own saliva and her face went red.

“So I am correct..you like him?”I stood up and jumped in amusement

My friend and my brother are in love..AWWW!

I have caught Suho being protective of her alot of times and the way they both are always staring at each other made me think about it the whole night.

“N-no”she stuttered

She got up from the floor, Avoiding my gaze.

“Jukyung,you know you can trust me right?I am your best friend. You can tell me anything”I held her hand and swayed them from left to right with a polite smile

She started to get teary eyed..why is she crying?

“Well I don't know about Suho, maybe it's a crush maybe it's not but I have a secret.
I wasn't planning on telling you this but”she took a long pause, she is as dramatic as Sua“This isn't real”she pointed towards her face and cried harder

Okay now I am very very confused.

What is she talking about?

“Huh?”I asked, completely dumbfounded

She wiped her tears from the back of her palm “My face, it's all makeup”she cried harder

Ohh

I immediately embraced her in a hug, I hated hugs but she needed this right now. People here completely changed me. I hated talking about my feelings but now I think it's not a bad idea,I was shy,I didn't had any friends, nobody trusted me with their secrets and now when Jukyung shared a big part of her life with me I felt thankful but also numb.

She cried and cried until there were no tears left,she told me everything.

From her school bullies to how she met Suho.

She has also gone through alot.

Everyone has,so have I..but I am not going to talk about it right now.

“Okay,so you have confused feelings for Suho but why don't you talk to him?maybe he feels the same for you.And why are you going on a date tomorrow?”I asked out of curiosity

“Sua forced me to go on this date,she will set you up with someone very soon too,and I felt like giving this guy a chance”

I will kill sua if she sets me up with someone.

We talked for hours until few notifications popped up on my phone screen.

I hesitated before accepting his friend request. Jukyung is right, to find about my feelings for him I need to get to know him.

I replied with a 'yes' to Soojin and got lost in my thoughts,but Jukyung's voice snapped me out of it “Will you come to my house today,after school. I need help with clothes for my date tomorrow”

I eagerly nodded.

I think I made a best friend..
