You finished the page, folded the corner of the page and put the book down while you grabbed your phone with the other hand. You unlocked your phone and saw a missed phone call from your manager. You raised an eyebrow and called the manager back-they picked up nearly immediately. "Hello?" you asked, waiting for the manager to speak. "Y/N, I'm sorry that this is all of a sudden but can you come to work now? We are running low on staff." they asked. You couldn't help but roll your eyes at the question, but you didn't want to decline the opportunity to get money. You agreed and left the house, heading to your car. There was a bit of traffic due to road works, but other than that it was a ride like no other, a very normal and boring one. You parked near the business and entered your work after locking the car. You couldn't help but notice how quiet the workplace was when barely anyone was around, walking around close to silent corridors and standing in a elevator with a quiet tunes playing in it.. It was strange. Soon enough, you got to your office and started doing boring paper work you got asked to do. Around 3 hours later, you finished some of the employee's paper work you got asked to do and you left the building feeling a little tired. You got into your car and realized you had nothing to do in your apartment.. Jeremy was away and Glitchtrap disappeared. You suddenly felt really lonely, without any friends or any family members nearby since they lived a long way away.. You let out a long sigh as you started the car engine and started to drive to your apartment.

You got to your apartment and unlocked the door, expecting nothing but empty rooms due to you having no one to talk to anymore. You locked the door and put the keys on the kitchen counter and decided to lay on the couch. You thought of things you could do but nothing came into your head-only thoughts about Dave and what he was doing now. You wondered who was he talking to and what he meant by 'changing into William'. You sighed, you wouldn't find out unless he would come back. You wanted to make him appear but you doubted your skills so you didn't even try. You closed your eyes and tried thinking of things that would make you forget about the situation but nothing great came.. What came into your head made you want to be upset more than anything. The thought of you liking a murderer came through your head once again and you immediately opened your eyes, only to see him infront of you, glaring down at you with a faint smile painted on his face. Dave sat across the room on the floor, holding Glitchtrap's head in one hand. He seemed so far away-out of reach.. You tilted your head as you waited for him to speak but the more you waited the more you thought that Dave didn't want to talk.. Maybe he wanted to know your side?

You focused on your breathing before gathering the courage to speak, "I'm sorry for telling you to leave I just felt unsafe when I realized.. I'm.." you shook your head, "I didn't mean to hurt you I was just shocked-out of everyone it could have been it was someone I least expected it to be." you looked at Dave as you spoke, who now looked at the floor looking upset. "I didn't mean it in that way!" you said, realizing how mean you must have sounded. You walked up to Dave and sat next to him, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound like that. You are a nice person, you have helped me and have been there for me, I just wasn't expecting you to be a.. Well.. Murde-" Dave put one of his cold fingers on your lips before you could finish the sentence which made your cheeks go a shade of red. He looked at you as he spoke, "I don't anymore. I have tried to change and I have. I changed for you-I have became less violent and have became more accepting." He put his hand to where it was before he made the action and you smiled faintly at his words. He seemed so kind, people wouldn't even think that he had a dangerous and dark past..

Dave seemed to smile back, "what if I told you I'm a cosplayer?" he said with a laugh. Your eyes widened and your mouth dropped. "Are you?!" you asked as Dave laughed louder, "If you are I swear-" you started saying, but Dave shook his head. "Nah, nah. Maybe-" he said, the last one quietly as he calmed himself down to stop laughing. "How can I tell if you aren't?" you asked, not meaning to say it out loud. Dave smiled as he shrugged, "Only time can tell" he responded with a smile. The thought of him being a cosplayer made you feel more comfortable around him.. You smiled as you realized Dave put his arm around you as he said quietly, "I'm glad we can still be friends.". There was a small pause but you soon ended the silence, "Yeah, me too." you said, but one word stood out the most, 'friends'. Were the two of you going to stay friends forever-? Did you have to give up on the feelings you had for Dave? What if he didn't like you back.. You shook your head gently and decided to enjoy the moment now and worry about feelings later, just like most of the time.
