"Joey, why—"

"It'll all be explained later."

He made her strip down completely naked. I didn't stare, knowing she must be embarrassed being put on display. I mean, I wanted to look, but I really didn't want to make her uncomfortable.

I glare at Joey, wishing my hands weren't restrained so I could rip out his throat right then and there.

"You're sick." I say, growls mixed in with the words. Joey only laughs.

"Oh, a bit of embarrassment won't matter when this is all finished."

"Why the hell did you make her?" Henry says, anger rising in his voice as well. "TELL ME YOU SICK BASTARD!!"

"Oh, you're all too feisty." Joey says, shaking his head. "It's because, of course, she needs to be as close as she can to the ink! Nothing should separate her and her body from it."

I narrow my eyes underneath the ink covering them.

"What do you mean?" I say slowly and carefully.

"Isn't it obvious?" Joey says.

"She will be my newest character!"

My heart sinks.

I hear Allison gasp.

Henry doesn't say anything yet.

Joey's going to drown her in the ink.

"Joey, you're unbelievable!" I hear (Y/N) shout from atop the Machine. "First you nearly kill Bendy, then you knock me unconscious with a piece of fabric, then you force me to wear only my birthday suit, and NOW you want to turn me into a cartoon?!"

"Oh it's much more than that, my dear!" Joey says. "You will be immortalized and given a new body! You will become a perfect version of yourself that Henry will help create with me! It will be wonderful! A dream come true!"

"She's perfect the way she is!!" I shout, struggling to get free. "She doesn't need any ink pumping through her veins or a pair of animal ears, she's already flawless!! Let her go!!"

"I'm afraid not." Joey says, snapping his fingers and signaling the Searchers holding (Y/N)'s arms to move closer to the Machine. Joey pulls out a remote and presses a button, and the roof of the machine comes off, revealing a pool of ink. Joey pushes another button and the Machine rotates, revealing a side made completely out of glass.

"Please don't do this." I say, struggling some
more and feeling tears well up in my eyes. "Joey, please just let her go."

He says nothing. His face stays the same.

He snaps his fingers.

I look up in terror as the Searchers throw her into the Machine, and the top covers the exit.

Henry was the first to scream for her.

For a while I just stood there, my tears falling and breathing hard, as if I was trapped in time. As I stood there, one of my eyes became visible.

Breathing.

Staring.

Tears.

Then I snapped out of it.

Then I snapped out of it

I could hear her banging on the glass. I got to the Machine and put my palms on the glass.

I stop myself from breaking the glass. Instead I turn to Joey, the one who shouted.

"And why shouldn't I?!" I said, tears streaming down my face and my voice breaking.

He was right.

If she came out now she would be tainted. Desperate. Lost.

But if she died the ink would save her soul. In turn, yes, she will become a character.

I looked back at the glass. I saw her hand show up.

"(Y/N)..." My voice breaks. More tears fall down my face as I see the hand disappear into the ink. "(Y/N)..."

I fall to my knees, forehead on the glass. My palms rest on it too.

I feel her soul.

It's here, in the ink.

"I feel you..." I say. One of my hands fall to the space in between my legs, on the floor. I hang my head. Call me crazy, but, I actually smiled.

"I feel you..."
