Me,you and the little one (Alex Turner fan fic)

Schools out for summer

This day couldn't get any better it was a hot day today in Sheffield,it's a Friday and best of all the last day of school for the summer holidays
I quickly got changed into my baggy jeans and an white oversized t-shirt with my knackered black converse hi-tops

"Mum I'm leaving" I called as I got to the bottom of the staircase
"Do you want me to drive you" she asked walking out the living room wearing her pink dressing gown her glasses on top of her head doing that arm fold thing holding a cup of tea
"No mum it's fine I'm getting Alex and Courtney" I stated adjusting my school bag on my back
"Okay love you" my mum replied with a smile
"Love you mum bye" I said making my way out the door

"Wha' took yeh" Alex said standing at the gate of my garden alongside Courtney my two best friends
"We're going to be late Lucy hurry up" Courtney claimed with an annoyed look on her face clearly she was pretending to be
"I'm sorry I got distracted" I explained

We walked to school it was only ten minutes away from my house Courtney lives a few door down from me and Alex stays just the street up from me so we were always close
"Is Jamie in today" I asked looking at Alex since he's more likely to know
"I don't fink so he's probableh dogging it todaeh" Alex guessed with a chuckle

"What we in today" Courtney spoke once we got inside of the school
"I'm in maths first" I groaned I hated maths bores the shit out of me
"I'm in science" Alex added
"Lucky" complained me
We all parted ways and went to class

Maths went with me basically trying not to fall asleep mrs mclatherty is a good teacher don't get me wrong it's just I hate maths with a passion
I tapped my top on the metal of the desk creating a beat that matched the song I was singing in my head

The bell finally rang I grabbed my bag and zoomed out of that class to English one of my favourites I only had 4 favourite classes English,history, drama and music all because Alex is in them with me Courtney was in history and music with us aswell so that was always a barrel of laughs I took the piss out the teacher in maths sometimes when I was in the mood to but today I wasn't

"Yeh readeh Lucy" Alex asked adjusting the straps on his bag
"Yep I hope mr ingrums not in one of his bitchy moods" I wished
"Meh teh he's a right dickhead when he's in a mood" Alex chuckled As we walked along the corridors to English

We entered mr ingrums class he seemed happy enough today so I guess we're off to a good start
"Ah Lucy, Alex my two favourite students" mr ingrum beamed me and Alex looked at each other as if to say 'wtf'
"Hello mr ingrum" i chirped with my usual smile
"Alright" Alex waved as we made our way to our desk at the front
Once everyone else came in mr ingrum announced that today was a free period so we could do whatever we want since it's last day

Alex was writing in his journal I always wondered what he writes in that thing sometimes
"Yeh lookin at mEh"Alex mumbled with a soft chuckle his eyes fixed on what he's writing
"Just you seem so peaceful when you write" I whispered red rushing to my cheeks
"Fanks" Alex chuckled

Once class ended it was interval I rushed over to Courtney who was in the cafeteria waiting at our usual spot
"There you two are" Courtney shouted once she spotted us
"I say we ditch the rest of the day" I offered
"Why not the school won't saeh anyfing" Alex agreed
"I'm in" Courtney squealed
Walking out the building since were in fourth year so teachers aloud us out at intervals

We made our way to the park just in the middle of our houses and the school
"Summers gunna beh a buzz" Alex grinned laying on the floor at the park beside the tire swing
"It is I'm going to get mega shitfaced" I giggled
"Me to hit girl summer for me" Courtney beamed sitting on the tire swing
I was laying beside Alex on my stomach using my arms as some sort of pillow

There was a comfortable silence between us three I felt my eyes growing heavy Alex turned his head to look at me with a smirk
"Yeh alright luv" he asked
"Mmhmm" I hummed in response slightly nodding my head
"You know what tonight we're all going out drinking" Courtney stated swinging herself on the swing
"Where" me and Alex asked in union
"Here we'll invite everyone Matt,jamie,Andy Nick the rest" Courtney said Me and Alex hummed in response

Shortly after Jamie,Matt,Andy and Nick came by
"Anehone got a fag" Jamie asked the second he got to us
"Here" I said taking two out my packet giving Jamie one and the other on my lips I lighted my cigarette giving Jamie my lighter so he could light his
"Fanks" Jamie said handing me my lighter back with a thankful smile

"So tonight drinking here" Courtney stated to the rest of the boys
They all replied with "yeah" or "defo"
"We could invite Morgan" Andy offered she's one of our mates we haven't seen her in a while and to be honest I miss her
"Yeah i miss morg" I chuckled

"Right let's go home get ready then get old richie to get us booze" Courtney beamed getting off the tire swing
We all said our goodbyes me Alex and Courtney walked home
"See you soon Courtney" me and Alex chirped
"Bye" she replied
Me and Alex walked a few doors up to mine
"I'll see you soon Alex" i announced
"Yeah I promise I won't get too drunk so yeh won't need teh look after mEh" he giggled
"Ok" I smiled
We gave each other a hug and I jogged up the little steps to my front door
