Mine and Alex's relationship escalated from being happy to constantly arguing alex did promise to take a break after humbug now he's nearly finished producing a new album and we've been fighting non stop it wasn't fair on rhiannon she didn't have to hear all of this so she sometimes has a sleepover with amy so she can forget about the arguments with me and her dad
Alex soon started to drink more than he did and smoke some weed I didn't mind the weed but not mixed with alcohol we would go out and come home in some state I definitely don't want rhiannon seeing her father like this I had to pit my foot down
It was a Saturday night and rhiannon was staying with zoe and Amy for the weekend and went out again doing god knows what I had my silky night dress on waiting on alex to come home it was now early hours in the morning and that's when alex walking through the door
He stumbles in not noticing me standing there with my arms folded a pissed off look on my face
"Oh hello babeh" alex smirked staggering towards me pulling my closer to him his hair that was in his new quiff he was rocking now tossed around I pulled myself away making my way over to the sofa taking a seat .
Alex pulled out his pack of cigarettes from his leather jacket taking one out offering it to me which I took I needed it lighting out cigarettes I started to speak "alex what's gotten into you" I asked my heart breaking with the way he's been acting that's not my alex
"I have no clue what your on about" he shrugged confused sinking into the seat beside me his hand resting on my bare thigh his thumb caressing it "this is the 4th time you've been out drinking this week and your stoned aswell coming home in some state what if rhiannon sees you like this alex it's not good" I said in frustration
"I'm fine she hasn't seen me like this" alex mumbled taking a drag of the cig
"Yet alex she hasn't seen you like this yet" I sighed flicking the Ash of the cigarette inside the ashtray "How will I explain that to her how her dad is in this state that God she's with zoe right now it won't be long till she tipples alex" I said unable to hold in the tears now
"I'm sorry Lucy I've been stressed out with this album I've only got a handful of songs done and I still need to write more" alex sighed putting his cig out shrugging out of his leather jacket
"Do you not think lay off the booze and the weed and then you'll find something to write alex" I hissed
"What's that supposed to mean" alex asked starting to get pissed off "it means you've been out all the time I feel like I don't exist to you anymore Alexander once rhiannon goes to bed you fuck off out and I'm here myself" I snapped I had enough
"Not all the time" alex sniggered in disbelief "Yes all the time alex 4 time this week alone its becoming a problem and if you don't get your act together then I'm leaving me and Rhiannon are leaving" I said I never want to leave him but if he can't get his act together then it may have to come to this
"You can't do that to me you can't leave me I love you and Rhiannon" alex said now seemed to sober up at the realisation "I'm not saying that you can't have a drink here and there but Al not nearly everyday and coming in at all hours in the morning it's not healthy for you me or rhiannon we're not kids anymore we have responsibilitys your a parent alex" I sighed as tears slipped out of our eyes
"Let's go to bed Al" I said taking his hand leading us to the bedroom alex took off his clothes leaving himself in his usual sleep attire his boxers I slipped into bed alex laying next to me moving closer so his head was on my chest "I'm sorry Lucy I'm so sorry" he quietly sobbed I ran my fingers through his hair calming him down
"Alex it's okay but just promise me you'll cut down I'm not saying to stop drinking all together just not as much and please don't do it with the weed" I pleaded alex nodded his head "I promise" he mumbled "I love you" he added holding me tighter "I love you too" I replied falling to sleep
The next day I woke up to find alex not on bed I got up and looked around to find him and Rhiannon in the makeshift studio alex was writing rhiannon was playing with her toys she must've came home when I was asleep I didn't know what time it was I made my way over to alex to see what he was up to
"What you writing" I asked wrapping my arms around him "I was thinking about last night and wrote somethings" he said "can I see" I asked Alex shook his head "your going to have to wait till the album comes out" he smirked pecking my lips
We pulled away rhiannon was playing with her dolls asking me to join in I did "Daddy can you play with us please" rhiannon asked alex smiled and spoke "Yeah of course just let daddy finish that last part then I'm all yours" he smiled scribbling down the last of his lyrics and joined us playing house with the dolls
"Daddy you can be the daddy mummy you can be the mummy and I'm the baby" rhiannon said handing us our dolls and we played for hours
Around 4 and I was about to prep dinner but alex said he'll cook tonight and we had pasta and meatballs that were actually delicious we got Rhiannon bathed around 7 pm and got her tucked into bed around half 8 pm
And alex stayed in tonight "want to watch a movie" he asked I said yes and we got into bed alex putted on a movie we haven't seen yet Jack and Jill a comedy with Adam sandler we cuddled up in the bed sweets on the bedside table as we watched the movie
All we did was laugh in the movie my head on Alex's chest our legs tangled together like old times times Alex's fingers grazing along my bare arm he placed a few kisses on my head making me look up at him he had a smile on his lips and a mischievous look in his eyes
"I love you" he stated I couldnt help but smile my cheeks reddened
"I love you too alex" I said kissing his lips "after all those years i still make you blush like the first time we went out" he chuckled I laughed swatting his chest he kissed me again Deeping it my body immediately straddled him his hands start to roam my body my hips started to grind on him feeling him grow hard under me
Just as thing were getting heated I heard the door handle move I got off alex as rhiannon walked in tears in her little eyes "whats wrong baby" I asked breathlessly "I had a bad dream" she sobbed I got up and walked towards her giving her a hug "you forgot your bear" I said taking her to get her bear as alex excused himself to the bathroom
Rhiannon slept in the middle of me and alex soon enough snoring she been having nightmares a lit aswell leaving me and alex with no alone time now sometimes she genuinely wants to sleep with her mum and dad
"She needs to learn to sleep in her own room" alex sighed still watching tv rhiannons head was under Alex's arm she was cuddling into him she really loved her dad "I know I didn't sleep in my room till I was 9" I said chuckling
"No you didn't you said you were 6 year old so did your dad" alex chuckled aswell
"You got to mind Al she sleeps with us when we're on tour and she's never away from us but we'll try" I said yawning alex turned the tv off and we went to sleep
