Deal or no deal

Here's a little backstory Johanna is Alex's ex girlfriend they dated when we were 13 and Johanna broke Alex's heart 5 months before his 16th birthday she moved away without telling anyone and now here we are

My eyes went wide Alex held my hand tighter not hurting me of course
Johanna waved from across the street I could tell Alex wanted to avoid her but it was too late
Johanna checked the road before running through it

"Oh my god Alex hi"she beamed immediately bringing him into a hug
I tried to play it off Cool but I was feeling jealousy
"Oh my god Lucy you look so different I barely  recognised you"Johanna smiled
"Yeah grew up"I chuckled

"So Alex how have you been"Johanna asked batting her eyelashes at him
I knew exactly what she was doing
"Erm nofing much"Alex chuckled Rhiannon spat her dummy out and started to cry I leaned over the pram placing her dummy back into her mouth

"Oh who's this"Johanna asked peering over to look at mine and Alex's daughter
"Oh this is Rhiannon"Alex said
"Who's baby is she"she asked smiling down to her
"Shehs mine and Lucy's"Alex proudly stated Johannas smile was wiped off making me smirk

"Oh when did you two happen"Johanna asked
"Just over a year or so"I replied smiling up to Alex who was already looking at me smiling
"Shehs honestleh the best fing tha' ever happened teh mEh her and Rhiannon"Alex smiled
"Oh"was all Johanna said before checking her watch
"Oh Christ is that the time I better head off good luck on your relationship and she's beautiful"Johanna rushed off

Me and Alex looked at each other then started laughing
"That was so fucking awkward"I laughed
"Tell mEh about it Shehs mEh ex it's more awkward for mEh"Alex chuckled shaking his head then pushed Rhiannon in her pram

"Where to next"I asked resting my head on Alex's shoulder as we walked down the streets of Sheffield
We decided to just walk anywhere the streets were quite only the cars passing and strangers walking past us but I was in my own little bubble with the two people I love more than anything in the world

Alex and I was busy preparing the living room with birthday decorations for Rhiannon's first birthday the time flew by fast Rhiannon was growing up so fast she's sitting on her own now and she's starting to crawl around
So that means me and Alex grew eyes at the back of our heads

Rhiannon was still asleep me and Alex had been up most of the night wrapping up her birthday presents then we woke up at the crack of dawn to decorate the living room with birthday banners some balloons and all that jazz

Eventually we were finished we had the living room looking like a kids dream
We invited mine and Alex's family and of course the boys and Courtney and kaite
We also invited Courtney's family and a few kids from Rhiannon's nursery

Rhiannon started going to nursery when she was around 6 months old since I took a job in a shop as a cashier and we couldn't get our family to babysit since they all had work so that was our opinion but Rhiannon loved it so I was happy

"Finalleh"Alex sighed plopping on the settee his eyes instantly closing
"Do you want some coffee babe"I asked adjusting my knee socks since they slipped down a little while decorating
"If yeh don't mind"he smiled I gave him a nod with a soft smile and began to make the coffee for us both

"Here you are"I said placing our coffees on the coffee table that Alex had his slipper covered feet on
"Come 'ere I want cuddles"Alex mumbled sleepily opening his arms for me making me giggle and jump straight into his arms
"Can't believe Shehs one todaeh"Alex mumbled
"I know felt like yesterday I was crying in your mums toilet"I chuckled aswell as Alex
