Me,you and the little one (Alex Turner fan fic)

first day of school

(16th August 2008)

Today's the day every mother dreads their baby's first day of school
I already know I'm going to cry my eyes out
Alex was leaving for tour with miles in a few days for their band they created together the last shadow Puppets
Sadly me and Rhiannon can't come since she has school but every chance we get well join them

Arctic monkeys released their second studio album favourite worst nightmare last year Andy left the group and nick took the place as the bands bassist

Me and alex bought a house in London a modern house perfect for a family a back and front garden 4 bedrooms we made one of the rooms into a home studio and the other one a guest room

It's currently 7:30am i just woken Rhiannon up for school alex was awake not wanting to miss any part of Rhiannon's first day of school
Alex was making breakfast for everyone while I got Rhiannon's school uniform

Rhiannon sat in front of the tv watching  milkshake on channel 5 mio mao keeping my 5 year old entertained
I pondered into the living room with Rhiannon's uniform placing it on the settee then going to see alex

"Ello babeh" alex smiled plating up some scrambled eggs and toast
"Good morning" I hummed hugging alex from behind my cheek pressed against his bare back
"I don't know what I'm going to do when your on tour and Ri's in school now" I sighed its going to be weird having the house to myself in a few days time yes Rhiannons only away for 6 hours 5 days a week but she never left my side for 5 years

"I kno' I wish yeh can come wif meh but I bet once I'm awaeh and Rhiannon's in school yeh gunna luv the peace and quiet" alex chuckled as I pulled away grabbing the plastic plate that had peppa pig on it
"Rhiannon breakfast" I called Alex grabbed his and my plate taking it to the kitchen island

Rhiannon's little footsteps echoed through the house entering the kitchen
With her signature smile her chubby rosesy cheeks her dark brown locks all messy
Rhiannon went over to alex wanting to eat with her dad
Alex lifted her onto his knee helping her with her food

(Alex's pov)
I can't believe Rhiannon starts school today to be honest I feel old I wish I could stay and witness the things she'll be learning but I had to go on tour

"Yeh excited for school princess" I asked her Rhiannon excitedly nodded her head shoving some eggs into her mouth
me and Lucy let out a chuckle

"I'm going to miss you daddeh" rhiannon pouted looking up at me with her big brown eyes
"I kno' daddehs gunna miss yeh teh but I'll phone evereh daeh" I reassured
"Why can't we come" she asked I let out a sigh before speaking up

"Because yeh got school daddehs onleh awaeh for a few months I'll beh back before yeh kno' it" I mumbled
It pains me to hear my daughter wanting me with her when I can't we just need to make the best out of these last few days together

"But I want yeh teh beh good for mummeh" I said tickling my daughter making her wriggle and giggle
"Daddeh stop I will" rhiannon laughed I stopped placing a kiss on the top of her head placing her down

"Right time to get ready for school" Lucy smiled holding her hand out for rhiannon to take it
I took the plates cleaning them while Lucy got Rhiannon ready

(Lucy's pov)
I took rhiannon into the living room sitting on the settee I took the tv remote flickering to the music channel
'I kissed a girl' by Katy Perry playing currently no.1 in the charts
Me and Rhiannon sang along while I took her in the night garden pyjama top off replacing it with her vest

I putted her white button up shirt on her then replaced her pyjama bottoms with her black school skirt and little knee socks that had bows on them with the school colours on them which was a goldish yellow and navy blue
