The babys coming

(May 8th 2003)
Im now sitting days away from my due date penny and David are staying over so we can get to hospital when the baby comes
We had a few false alarms but apart from that everything's great

Me and Alex decided to have a natural birth which from the stories I've been told I'm dreading it
Alex he's super excited and nervous for the baby we still haven't settled on a name Rhiannon is still at the top of our list with more like arabella,joy,Sophie,Morgan and more

Me and Alex had our bag all ready for the arrival of the baby
Penny been preparing me for what will happen so I want worry which I was extremely thankful for
Also David has been preparing Alex for fatherhood Alex sat there confused which I found so cute

"Babeh yeh want anehfing in"Alex called from the kitchen I sat in the living room with penny and David watching tv
"Just a cuppa and some chocolate babe"I called back my eyes still fixed on the tv

After about five minutes Alex came back with my tea and chocolate
"There yeh are luv"Alex smiled handing me my cup and chocolate bar
"Your a star"I chuckled penny looked at us in awe
"Yeh want anehfing mum"Alex asked penny shook her head "no son I'm alright"penny replied
"Dad yeh want anehfing"Alex then asked making me chuckle
"Can yeh give mEh a beer son"David smiled

Alex jogged into the kitchen to get his dad a beer
Alex came back and gave his dad his beer and plopped down beside me
"Yeh alright"Alex asked me I looked at him smiling
"Yeah"I smiled I glanced down at my huge bump smiling to see and feel our daughter kicking my belly
"Sheh at it again"Alex chuckled gesturing to my bump
"Yep"I replied

"What is it"penny asked
"The babeh Shehs kickin"Alex chuckled penny hadn't felt the baby kick yet so she shot right up to have a feel
I placed penny's hand to where the baby is kicking
"She's got a strong kick"penny giggled

Later around about 9:00pm me and Alex were in bed watching a movie penny and David were still in the living room
I started to hum a tune I randomly had in my head not one of my own a song I already knew
"Wha' yeh hummin"Alex asked softly
"Another day in paradise"I replied
"Alright"he chuckled I snuggled closer into him continuing to watch the movie

I fell asleep shortly after knowing I won't be asleep long yeah this baby doesn't let me sleep a lot
I woke up with a sharp pain in my stomach I shot up the bed was soaking wet aswell as my pyjamas 'fuck oh god no not now' I thought

My waters broke I started panicking Alex was still asleep beside me I shook him awake
"Alex wake up"I whisper-shouted
"Wha' whys the bed wet"Alex asked
"Did yeh piss yerself"Alex chuckled until I punched his chest
"No I didn't dickstain the baby's coming my waters broke"I shouted

Alex jumped out of bed sprinting to penny and David in our living room yes they slept there since we didn't have a spare bedroom

(Alex's POV)
Fuck the baby's coming I'm not ready for this part fuck what do I do I feel useless right now
I ran to the living room to find my mum and dad sleeping on a blow up bed
"Mum dad wake up"I yelled my mum and dad shot up in a flash

"What is it"they asked I was panicking I couldn't form words
"Lucy, babeh comin"I stated my mum rushed out of bed into mine and Lucy's room my dad now trying to calm me down

"Al son calm down"my dad said I looked at him as if he told me someone died
"Calm down I can't calm down the babeh is coming"I stated my dad brought me into a hug
"I know how yeh fell but yeh need teh calm down yeh need teh be calm for Lucy she's the phone in pain"my dad said I nodded
"Okay"i said

(Penny's POV)
I stood infront of Lucy who was sitting on the edge of the soaked bed in pain poor thing
"Penny it hurts"she said looking up at me
"I know luv but it will be all over soon how longs the contractions"I asked
"Every 5 minutes or something"she gasped as another contraction happened
