First scan first gig

Today's the day I found out how far on I am I'm pretty excited now I woke up at 8:30am got showered singing in the shower as usual then I started talking to my nonexistent bump telling the baby how much I love it and excited to meet him or her

I wore my ripped mom jeans with Alex's jumper I stole not long ago with my knackered black hi top converse
I straightened my hair and applied some concealer mascara and blush with a bit of lip gloss to look somewhat presentable

"You alright honey" my mum asked as she literally make me a full English breakfast
"Yeah that smells delicious"I beamed
"Where's Izzy"I asked as my mum handed me my plate
"She's having a smoke"she replied I nodded I've quit smoking for a few days and I'm doing great now but it's most likely temporary until I have the baby

"You nervous for the appointment"'my mum asked I nodded
"Yeah but I'm excited aswell I don't know what happens"I giggled shoving a forkful of food in my mouth
"You heard from dad"I asked yes I know he's a dickhead but it's still my dad
"He's asking for you"my mum mumbled I nodded
"He's slowly but surely accepting it"my mum said
"He's got no other choice"I shrugged

It's now 11:00pm my mum was talking me through what happens and that everything will be okay Alex came to pick me up

"Yeah come on baby"I smiled Alex held my hand as we walked to the bus stop

"I'm fookin nervous"Alex chuckled
"Everything will be fine trust me"I reassured him there was no one at the bus stop just me and Alex I pecked his lips a few times until he pulled away
"As much I love kissin yeh but the bus is here"he laughed I blushed as the people coming out the bus gave us weird looks

"2 child all days please"I asked the bus driver whom nodded as I slid the change into the meter and grabbed the bus tickets handing Alex his and we at the top deck at the very front since I like to plop the feet on the ledge

"What time is it baby"i asked Alex my head resting on his shoulder my hand resting on my kid stomach Alex had my hand on top on my hand on my stomach Checking his watch on his other hand
"11:45"he mumbled "McKay"I replied

We spent the bus right talking away and just preparing ourselves for the appointment

"Everehfing will beh okaeh"Alex chuckled as we made our way to the reception desk

The lady at reception smiled up at me and Alex
"Erm appointment for Lucy handen"i shyly said Alex gave my hand a squeeze since I always get anxiety at these types of places
"And your date of birth Lucy"the receptionist asked
"The 5th of the 8th 1986"I replied with a anxious smile
"All set just take a seat and the doctor will be with you shortly"the receptionist beamed

Me and Alex sat in the corner there was a few people waiting to be seen by a doctor mums with baby's  and pregnant women there aswell

After about ten minutes of waiting my name was finally called
"Miss Lucy handen"the doctor called I stood up aswell as Alex and we made our way to the doctor following her to her office
"Take a seat I'm dr milburn"she introduced shaking both mine and Alex's hand
"So your pregnant"she asked as me and Alex sat on the chairs and dr milburn logged on her computer to properly get my health information and all that jazz

"Erm yes"I mumbled my leg started to bounce up and down with nerves
"How long ago did you find out"dr Milburn asked
"About a week ago but I have no clue how far on I am"I chuckled
"Okay if you just lay on the exam table"she asked gesturing to the bed looking thing I nodded
"I assume your dad"dr milburn asked Alex
"Yes"Alex replied
