"Alright you ready?"

I hand the blonde boy his backpack as he nods.

"Do you have everything? Did you pack your lunch? Make sure you don't forget to eat well and-"

"Heeseung it's fine you don't have to be all Mom mode to me. Don't watch my every move."

I scoff at this.

"Well Niki I very much do need to. Why? Because the last time I let you do something on your own what happened? Right, you got run over with a car. Literally."

He rolls his eyes.

"Don't roll your eyes at me! Go! You're making Jay wait!"

"Okay bye Hee I'll see you later today!"

"Bye!"

I say back as I close the door.

I'm really worried about him.

It's been four weeks since the accident, (A/N:If that's unrealistically short I'm sorry I'm not a doctor)
he really did recover fast. Luckily.

His wrist turned out to be only sprained, not broken.
He still needs to steer clear of physical activity and take a lot of rest but we've been figuring it out.

Sunoo's been an amazing help, aswell as Jay and the other three.

Niki's mood's been up and down.

He seems happy around us, especially around Sunoo.
The amnesia was temporary so he's gained his memory back wich is great.

They recently got back together aswell.

Nothing else has been happening.

Ding Dong-

That's the doorbell.
Must be the mail.
I'm scared to open it.
The last thing I need is more bills...

Thank god, it's just a letter from my grandparents wishing me luck for my college applications.

Good.

- POV: Niki-

"Hey Niki? Niki! Hey you good?"

I shook up.

"Jay, can we just not go to school?"

He smiled apologetically.

"I thought you were ready to? Come on Niki it's the last day before our week vacation and you really don't want to go?"

"I changed my mind."

I shifted my gaze out of the window to the gates of the school.

"If you don't feel ready we can just leave, I won't get absences since today's classes are voluntary for correcting exams, but you promised Sunoo and Jungwon you'd be here."

I look down and then out of the window again.

I can't do it.

I can see Sunoo and Jungwon standing by the schoolgate.
It's raining so they're sharing Jungwon's yellow umbrella.
I don't know why, but I suddenly feel very distant from them.

We used to be so close, but after everything that's happened...do I even really know them?

Are we even friends at all?

I don't know what's wrong with me but I can't think like this.

"Just drive please."

"Okay."
