Wade POV
"Answer your fucking PHONE!" I screamed for at least the tenth time, pacing around the Avengers floor. It had been hours since I last saw Celeste and I was worried to say the least. I hadn't seen her look that bad since she started working as an intern. It scared me shitless.
"Maybe it died," Peter whispered, his head in his hands. He seemed to think it was his fault since he needed to be rescued. I knew it wasn't, but he didn't listen. "I don't think they know how to charge a phone there."
"No, she would have found a way," Bucky muttered, staring at the floor. "She probably smashed it or got rid of it in some way. She tends to not think when she's upset."
"I fucking KNOW THAT, Bucky!" I yelled, angry as shit. "This all your fault Stark. Why did they trust you to call her!"
"What was I supposed to do?" He growled at me, crossing his arms. "Let my kid or one of you get hurt?!"
"YOU CAN'T JUST DEMAND THINGS OF HER!" I roared, sweeping my arms over the counter, sending many things crashing to the floor. I had to take a second to calm down. "Celeste will push and push and push herself until there's nothing left if you let her."
"Oh yeah," Tony retorted, his eyes stormy. "And I'm sure you know exactly what to say to her all the time. I'm sure you're PERFECT!"
"No, no I'm not. But I know enough to recognize when she needs a fucking break, Stark. She's been through hell these last few days. And now, we don't know what the hell is going on and I blame YOU!" I shoved a finger into his chest as I snarled the last word. He stood straighter and took a breath, seeming like he wanted to say something back, but Bucky interrupted.
"Wade's right. We shouldn't have pushed her, but now we shouldn't spend time fighting over whos fault it is! We need to figure out what the hell is happening in Asgard!" He slammed his metal arm so hard onto the table it shook violently.
"How do you suggest we do that?"
"That's not fucking helping Tony!" Everyone's heads snapped over to the golden boy. I couldn't believe he just swore.
Lucky for us, a solution presented itself to us. A loud boom sounded and, when the dust cleared, Thor and Loki stood in front of us.
Fraida's POV
"WHAT HAPPENED!" I screamed at the pair of brothers. Loki had managed to knock Celeste out with magic and Thor had carried her back to her room. We were standing outside of the room as I was about to breakdown.
"We don't know everything," Loki whispered, staring at his feet.
"THEN TELL ME WHAT YOU DO KNOW BECAUSE I KNOW THAT SOMETHING TRIGGERED THIS! SHE WAS FINE 20 MINUTES AGO!" Thor winced at my volume.
"She went with Hela and Odin, our sister and father, into a deep hole and, when she came back out, Hela was gone, she was dragging Odin by his hair. She said something- something about-" The blonde seemed to get choked up by emotion.
"About what?" I managed to gasp out.
"About our parents being involved in her kidnapping and torture," Loki whimpered, fists clenched. I slammed my hand to my mouth, trying not to scream. I couldn't believe she had to go through that, today no less. As soon as I heard the screams, I had ran all the way back to the palace. It was good that I did.
"Where are they now," I whispered.
"The dungeon, in their own cells." Thor replied, looking like a kicked puppy.
"Good," I spat, my anger fueled by Celeste's, our emotions merging slightly. By now, the fury had almost completely fallen away and was replaced my anguish and pain. It made my soul hurt.
