25 : BIRTHDAY

ANNA'S POV

The whole week just flew away. In those days I manage to work in the office, manage to steal documents from Won's office, manage to hide his own birthday party, manage to organise everything in the hotel and by collecting all my left energy I manage to follow Tan's so-called rule number three. 'that is staying away from Won'

This is the day and I was still in Won's office working on a file but my whole concentration was on management. I arranged everything with the help of Luca but I was still nervous.

" Anna". I immediately raised my head towards the owner of the voice. "Anna have I done something wrong?. I mean I noticed you are ignoring me". Won asked in a low tone. looking a bit sad.

Looking here and there trying to find any excuse, luckily a phone call saved me. I looked at my mobile screen that was Ezra. I immediately excused myself and went outside his office.

" Hello". I greeted.

" Hey, Anna. Is everything done as we planned ?". She asked.

" Oh yes Ezra. Everything has done you just have to bring Mr. William at night there". Excitement was clearly visible in my voice.

" Don't worry about that". She said confidently. " And yeah, you are also invited". My eyes widened at her words.

" No-no-no-no. I'm glad and also thankful to you for inviting me but I can't come. Sorry Ezra". I apologised in advance.

" No sorry will be accepted. I have ordered a dress and sandals for you. It will be delivered to the hotel address. You have to wear that and yeah you have to come. I'm not going to listen any further. Bye". With that, she hung the call.

I went inside again only to see Won is very concentrated on his laptop. I hope he forget what he just asked. With my finger crossed I sat on my chair and I started doing my work.

The office schedule is getting tighter and tighter as the project date is near and Won is a bit serious related to work. He is even working on weekends.

After a long day of work, it's an evening. I was standing outside, waiting for Aiden to come. As soon as he came I went inside to the back seat. That girl wasn't there she only appear in the morning time.

I pulled out a small box from my purse. Actually, I brought a bracelet as a gift from me on Won's birthday so I thought I should order two. One for Tan also because it's his birthday also. I know he isn't a person I should hand gift to but he has saved my life once.

As they say 'No person born evil. it's people and situations who make them'. I can feel something is bothering him.

Before I got off the car I handed Aiden that box and told him to give that to Tan. He took that from me without any argument but he asked the reason." May I ask what is this for?".

" It's his birthday". I answered simply. He chuckled. I looked at him confused. " Isn't it his birthday?". I asked.

" Yeah it is. But he never celebrates". He answered.

' what else can I expect from this man'

After passing a poker face I went inside. The hotel was beautifully decorated. I tied my hair in a messy bun, didn't even change my clothes, and started working as some of the work was remaining.

After working for more than three hours I got exhausted. I sighed sitting at a corner, taking one last glance at everything. It was beautiful.

" Hey, Anna". I turned to see Ezra completely ready looking gorgeous as ever in her beautiful white knee-length dress but shooting a glare at me. My heart stopped for a second. Thinking about she might didn't like the arrangements.

" Hey". I quickly stood up. " Why aren't you ready yet?. Party is going to start. This girl". She said annoyingly. I smiled.

Ezra and I've spent so much time together in the past few days and have become closer to each other. She feels like my elder sister. " Let's go we don't have time". With that, she grabbed my wrist and dragged me with her to changing room.

The parcel was already there I opened it only to see a beautiful plain red long sleeveless dress with a pair of silver sandals. I quickly wore it and Ezra did my makeup even after I said no to her.

After finishing my makeup she went outside. I glanced at my reflection in the mirror. I was looking really different. As soon as I stepped out of the changing room I saw Luca. He was busy doing work. He glanced at me for a second and turned to continue his work. But in the exact next second, he tuned again looking at me with widened eyes and mouth.

He left the work and started walking towards me. Looking at me from head to toe. " Woah. My princess. I didn't recognise you for a second. You are looking like a complete angel". I shyly smiled at his words. I thanked him in reply he kissed my head and went to work again. I really wanted to help him but Ezra told me not to for today as I'm invited as a guest.

Soon the hall filled with people. I went and stand next to Ezra. " Hey Ezra, where is Won?". I asked.

" I just called him. He is on his way". She replied.

" Did you tell him about the surprise party already?". I frown my brows.

" Nope. I told him that my car stopped working near plaza hotel. Please come to pick me I'm waiting inside". She said and we both giggled.

Soon the door open revealing Won. "Surprise". Ezra said walking towards him.

His surprised expressions were so adorable. He walked inside meeting people talking and smiling at them. He didn't see me the whole time nor did even I go towards him as he was busy.

People started dancing to the slow music, Ezra joined Won I was looking at them while smiling standing in the corner. I was feeling a little weird between all those rich people.

Soon Luca called me to join him he was also invited. I hesitated at first but then agreed. Couples were dancing beside us and we both were giggling as we are just friends. He is more like a brother to me.

It's already 12:00 at night. After cutting the cake everyone started wishing and handing him expensive gifts. I also brought mine but it wasn't that expensive.

I looked down at the little box in my hand. It was a handmade bracelet with Won written on it same as I gave to Tan but Tan was written on that one. It was expensive to buy for me but not for a billionaire like him.

I raised my head to look at Won again from far still standing at the corner. But between all the crowd he was staring at me with a confused look like he is trying to recognise me.

I saw him excusing himself from people and making his way towards me. I quickly hide the box behind my back.

" Hey, you are here too". He said smiling ear to ear. I nodded hesitantly. " Why are you standing here?. Come with me". He added.

" I'm okay here". I said grabbing a fistful of my dress from a side looking down.

" What are you hiding behind your back".
