When Nico saw Marie, Charlie, and Piper come back to camp, a fuzzy thingy caught his eye.
He walked towards the trio, and noticed the thingy he saw was actually an adorable hellhound pup.
"Dad! Look!" Marie smiled giving him the dog.
"Isn't she the cutest thing it the world?!?" She squealed.
Nico inspected the dog like an overprotective mother, and couldn't help to see how cute this little puppy was.
She had a sleek black coat, with large intelligent brown eyes.
"Her name is Shadow." Charlie smiled.
"A perfect name for a perfect hellhound." Nico smiled.
"Wait, you're smiling?!" Piper then exclaimed.
"Yeah. I am." Nico smiled again.
"This dog is the best thing that has ever happened to you. Besides Will and the kids of course." Piper screeched.
Marie giggled as Nico rolled his eyes.
"Well, here. You can keep her." Nico smiled as he gave Marie Shadow.
Marie held her close to her chest and smiled.
"Thank you so much Dad!" She squealed.
"And Charlie, stay away from my daughter." Nico said pointing to the boy.
"But Dad!" Marie protested.
"Yeah! But Nico!" Piper complained.
He sighed, but then smiled.
"I'm just kidding. But be careful." He told them.
And then the ran off with the puppy in Marie's arms to their friends.

"See you Monday." Charlie said as he held Marie close to him.
Their noses touched, and then Marie kissed him again.
"Well, you can always come over. And I could come over to your house. We live like 2 houses down." Marie smiled.
"True. Love you." He smiled.
"I love you too." Marie smiled back, as she kissed him again.
"COME ON MARIE!!!" Alec then yelled from the car.
Marie smiled as she broke away from Charlie.
"Bye." He said reluctantly.
"See you tomorrow." Marie muttered as she kissed him once more.
She then ran to her car, and hopped into the backseat with Shadow then crawling into her lap.
Marie held up her hand to say goodbye, and so did Charlie.
And with that, the Solangelo family left Camp Half-Blood.
