Uninvited Visitor

2 months later......

Charlie kissed Marie's neck, and she moaned.

She felt him smile against his skin, and she shoved him off of her.

She sat up, and pressed her hand to her head.

Then she winced in pain.

"Are you okay?" Charlie asked suddenly alarmed.

"Just a headache." She replied, and her head started throbbing.

"Do you want to stop?" He asked sincerely.

Marie shook her head, which didn't help the throbbing, and crawled into her boyfriend's lap.

"You sure?" He asked gently touching her pale face.

She nodded ever so slightly, and kissed him again.

She tangled her fingers recklessly in his hair, and he pulled her even closer to him.

Then the door slammed open.

The couple sprung away from each other, and looked at Alec standing in the doorway.

"Sorry to disturb you, but I think you guys might want to come downstairs." Alec muttered awkwardly.

Charlie stood, and grabbed his shirt, while Marie feverishly tried to fix her hair.

"We'll be down in a minute." She told her younger brother sweetly.

And with that, Alec left.

Marie bounded down the stairs with Charlie hot on her heels.

She got to the bottom step, and stopped suddenly.

Charlie slammed into her, but she staying put.

And that's when he saw what Marie was gawking at.

There was a girl who looked almost exactly like Marie sitting in the living room.

Marie's hands covered her mouth, and silent tears rolled down her face.

She immediately rushed forward, and wrapped her arms around the girl that looked like her.

Charlie then walked towards the two girls, and sat down next to Nico.

The girl broke from Marie's embrace, and she stroked Marie's face.

"Oh Thalia!" Marie said through tears. "I've missed you."

"And I have too." Thalia smiled.

They hugged once again, and Charlie saw Nico smile.

Thalia turned to them, and smiled.

"Thank you for inviting me." She nodded to Will and Nico.

Will smiled in response, and then Thalia and Marie sat down.

Marie leaned her head on her sister's shoulder, and Thalia touched her hair.

Marie wiped the tears from her eyes, and looked at Charlie from across the room.

"So, Thals, what brings you here?" Marie then asked.

"I was at Camp with my Hunters, and remembered that your father's invited me to come anytime, so I came." She smiled.

Her sister smiled in response, and it was clear that this little reunion was getting slightly awkward.

Charlie ran his hand through his messy black hair, and stole a glance of Marie.
