Solangelo (Percy Jackson Fanfiction)

Morning Madness, and Afternoon Gladness...

"Sit!! We made pancakes!!!" Ariel squealed.

"Are they blue?" Her father asked.

"Yup." Marie smiled.

Percy's eyes widened, and he sat in the nearest seat.

"Gimme!!" He cried like a child.

Annabeth sighed, and sat next to him.

"You better not have burnt them." Luke muttered to his twin sister.

He sat as Bianca ran to her seat.

Charlie didn't sit, but instead helped serve everyone.

"These look really good." He whispered to Marie.

"Not as good as you." Marie smiled as she kissed him.

He blushed, and then they all sat to eat.

"So, how taught you how to cook Marie?" Percy asked with his mouth full.

"My dad." Marie smiled.

"I knew that, but which one?" He asked.

Marie giggled, and smiled at Percy.

"Nico." She said gigging at her father's name.

Percy and Annabeth just stared at her, and then laughed.

"I never expected the son of Hades to teach his daughter how to cook." Annabeth said.

Percy just kept laughing, and the children just looked at him.

"Your father didn't like people, or anything, at one point. He just surrounded himself with dead people. Literally." Annabeth explained to the confused children, directed at Marie.

"I knew that, but if you look at him now, you can't tell that." Marie smiled.

And then they continued eating happily.

The pancakes were finished, and everyone helped clear the table.

Then Annabeth got an Iris message.

"Kids, go to the other room. I've gotta take this." She smiled as she fished around for a golden drachma.

They all left the kitchen, and Charlie took Marie's hand as he kissed her cheek.

They ended up in the living room, and then threw themselves on the sofa.

Charlie held Marie close to his body, as Ariel sneaked close to the kitchen to hear what her mother was Iris messaged about.

Then they all heard a squeal of delight, and Charlie and Marie exchanged confused expressions.

"Wanna check it out?" He muttered into her ear.

Marie nodded, and they stood to walk over to Ariel.

But, just then Percy entered the room.

"Is mommy okay?" Bianca asked.

"Yeah." He replied with a huge grin.

"What happened?!" Ariel and Luke asked at the same time running up to their father.

"Your mother will tell you when she's done." Percy smirked.

"Why can't you tell us?" The twins asked again.

"Because she told me not to." He said.

Charlie smiled, and then unexpectedly kissed Marie.

There was a silence, and they broke away to a grinning Percy.

"I can never get used to that." He muttered under his breath.

And then they all sat down waiting for Annabeth.

"Who was it?!?!" Luke and Ariel screamed as soon as Annabeth entered the room.

"It was Jason and Piper. You guys know them, right?" She started.

Everyone nodded including Percy, and Annabeth smiled.

"Well, she's expecting, and wanted your father and I to be his/her's godparents." She said with a sparkle in her eyes.

There was a silence, and then a lot of happy faces.

"That's great!" Charlie exclaimed with Marie still sitting in his lap.

Marie nodded, with a smile, and so did Ariel.

"What does that mean? Are you guys becoming gods?" Bianca asked still puzzled.

"No. It means if Zeus or any other god decides to kill Jason and Piper, Mommy and Daddy will have to take care of the baby." Luke explained to his little sister.

"But why would Zeus want to kill his own son?" Bianca asked.

"Don't ask." Annabeth said shuddering.

Percy laughed nervously, and then stood, and hugged Annabeth.

He whispered something in her ear, and she suddenly perked up.

"Oh yeah, Leo finally developed a demigod safe phone, and is coming to give us a couple on Tuesday. And he's gonna deliver some to your house too, Marie." Annabeth then told them.

Everyone's eyes widened, and Charlie looked at Marie.

"That sounds fun." Charlie whispered into her ear.

Marie nodded, and then pulled his face to meet her's as she pressed her mouth to his.

She ran her fingers through his messy black hair, and he moaned in the back of his throat.

He ran his hands over her back, and she broke away from him, and put her forehead against his.

And then Annabeth cleared her throat.

Marie scrambled off his lap, and they looked at Charlie's mother.

"CHARLES-" She started to yell.

"Annabeth, he's 15, give him some leeway." Percy said placing his hand on his wife's arm, cutting her off.

She took a deep breath, and sighed.

"Okay. Just try not to do this in front of her fathers." Annabeth told her son.

He nodded, and so did Marie.

"Good, now you guys go do something." Percy said as he shooed the children away.

There's no Solangelo moments here, but there will be plenty in the next chapter!!!
