Once Alec and I arrived back at the institute, we head to his room and lay on his bed, in a comfortable silence.
"How you holding up?" He turns to me
"Alec relax I'm fine. I promise"
"I know I just don't like the idea of you hurting in anyway-"
"Then it's a good job I'm not" I say smiling, straddling him
"I love you"
"And i you" I say while leaning down to kiss him
After enjoying each other's company for a while, we head out to the heart of the institute: and I immediately notice Izzy dressed like her mom.
"Is everything okay?" I ask her
"Never better"
"It's Jace, he's at the police station with Clary, we gotta go" Alec says

"You know what? I'm gonna bring Alec with my next time I don't think he's ever slapped me" I hear Jace says as he walks over to us
"She slapped you? Oh my god clary do it again" I joke, earning a glare from the blonde
"Someone called for backup?" Izzy asks him
"Yeah what took you guys so long?" Jace asks, smirking at his parabatai
"Shut it Jace. I could ask you two the same thing" Alec says, gesturing to Jace and Clary
"Fine. And it's complicated"
"We found the cup" Clary speaks up
"The cup?" Izzy screeches
"Yah but then we lost it"
"Great" Alec and I mumble
"We have to sneak back into the precinct to get it"
"This is a disaster-"
"Hey demon pox is a disaster. This is an inconvenience" Jace says, stopping Alec from speaking, "we just need a plan thats all"
"What about a glamour?"
"Anyone from the shadow world would see right through it" I say
"Can we ask Magnus Bane to portal us inside?"
"Nope, he can only portal to places he's been too" Izzy says
"Okay I've got a plan" Jace says
"That's a first" clary and I joke
"Hahaha. Just follow my lead. Oh and don't worry, in my plan nobody gets slapped" he says while pulling Clary with him
"I'm guessing we're the distraction" I smirk to the two Lightwoods in front of me
"Yup" Izzy says pulling us inside the station
"I'm guessing you're the distraction" Alec says to Isabelle
"Nope. I've decided to grow up remember, no more distracting from me. Besides, I don't think Lily and I are her type" Izzy smirks while looking at the woman at the front desk
"Oh crap"
"Don't worry, it's good practice"
"Huh?"
"You know, for uh" Izzy trails off while looking at me
"What?"
"Nothing" Alec quickly cuts her off, as I walk over to undo the first four buttons of his shirt, "can't you wait until we get back to my room at least?" He says smirking
