After changing, because I was covered in sweat, I walk out to see my boyfriend- my fionce- waiting for me.
*outfit above*
"Woah" he says looking me up and down with a smirk
"What? Like what you see?" I tease
"I sure do" he says before kissing me
"Let's go see what's happening" I say pulling him to go see Izzy
"And what's the second rule of being a shadow hunter?" I hear Clary ask
Deciding to be cocky, i backflip over the balcony and land right beside her, snatching the cup out of her hand.
"There's nothing a shadow hunter can't do in heels" I smirk
"Right. Your so badass" she compliments
"Et tu" I say smiling, handing her the cup back
"Alec what are you doing? You can stare at this monitor all you want, they can't get in without angel blood, they can't get past their wards. You know that?" I hear Jace ask him as Clary puts the cup back in the card, "no down worlder can come into the institute"
"Not without an invite by a shadow hunter"
I say joining their conversation
"Last I checked, Valentine is a shadow hunter. The cup is not safe here, we have to give it to the Clave" Alec argues
"Give it back to the clave? No. Not after everything we went through to get it"'Clary whines
"Alecs right Clary" I say as he wraps his arms around my waist
"Yep. My brother is right. The cup is extremely important"
"Are you agreeing with me izzy?" Alec asks his sister, surprised to say the least
"I'm full of surprises"
"This cup is the one chance I have at getting my mom back"
"I agree with Clary-"
"Of course you do Jace" I roll my eyes
"We can't give the cup to the Clave, not now. We need it. It's our only bargaining chip" Jace sighs
"Look I know how powerful this cup is, it has the power to create new shadow hunters, control demons and even kill a mundane if they drank from it. But I promise you, I will not let that monster get his hands on it" Clary defends her reason
"There you go, you have her word"
"Come with me" Alec grumbles before walking to the training room and unlocking his safe, gesturing for Clary to put it in.
"Alec I realise I couldn't have done any of this without your help. I wanna thank you" Clary says
"Don't misread this as friendship. Since you've arrived our whole world has been turned upside down, and my fionce almost died- way too many times" he says before walking back over to us
Just as he stood beside me, the alarm starts going off inside the Institute, somethings outside the perimeter.
"What the-" Alec gasps
