Story: Songfic (Talking to the moon)
Summary: As usual tony likes to sing out his emotions, this time he is all alone, missing Pepper after she broke up.

"Tony, we should take a break...."

"Wha- what do you mean pep?.."

"....Tony this is not going to work,we-I need a break from this relationship"

"wh-why would you say that? did I do something wrong, if yes please forgive me...I-I can't live without you! Who will be at my side when I break down? who will tell me to eat? Who..." tony started sobbing.

"Tony I'm just tired of this life, dear I'll never leave you, I'll be with you in your tough times but as a friend..."

"D-Did you mean you are breaking up??"

"......yes"

Tears started to roll down as pepper left.

"Please stay," Tony said in lower than a whisper, but Pepper already left.

It's been a week since the breakup, Tony got miserable. Pepper would always be the one to take care of tony, he was like a child with no supervision.

Sadness has taken a big part over his mind, moreover the only thing running in his head: 

"Tony, we need a break..."

The last word pepper told before the breakup. 

He hadn't or slept for the past week cos he doest do that without her, or without pepper forcing him.

Rhodey had just returned from the mission, knowing about his wreck friend had gone through a break-up. Obviously, he knows that Tony is not gonna eat or sleep and lock himself in the lab.

As soon as Rhodey reached the mansion, he sprinted to the lab to check on Tony.

As usual, he saw Tony singing, just like he used to do in MIT, sing until he dies. He decided to give him some space and listen to the song, sure his voice is sweet as hell.

Sure Rhodey understood the pain of his best friend.

What did tony ever do wrong? was it his anxiety problem? his panic attacks? his nightmares? his depression? none of them was his fault. Rhodey thought to himself

Rhodey came inside and hugged the poor heartbroken man. Tony does'nt mind singing in front of Rhodes, so he continues staring at the moon and :

Rhodey never left his side and stayed till the song.

As the song was finished Tony fell and cuddled into Rhodey's arms, sobbing.

He at least has a shoulder to cry on.
