I got inspired to write this piece after a discussion under an IG post – obviously, there are people who would choose and even enjoy and seek out this subgenre of fiction. And it is indeed important to write, and talk, about this. The topic is very close to my heart, as it is – inexplicably – still relevant in the 21st century; it is also very personal.
This fanfiction piece will be about forgiveness, and closure. I guess I need it in my life too, as being one of the many victims.
I want to help debunk the myth that if you're married, or you have a serious partner– this is not rape.

Your husband could rape you. Your wife could rape you. Your boyfriend could rape you. Your girlfriend could rape you.
All sex should be consensual, always. Anything else is a violation. On you, your body, your will, your freedom. It is one of the worst crimes that could happen against you as a person, as a soul.
I hope you like this one. I tried for a happy ending, but there was also a lot of crying. I find writing helps me deal with my emotions. So it is like therapy, a journal of sorts, for me. I hope it helps you find closure too.
