Y/n POV

"I bet you missed me huh?" Dalton asked as he got in my car

"Not one bit" I said pulling out of his driveway

I watched as hurt immediately flashed over his face

"Oh my god, I was kidding. Of course I did" I said

"As you should" he said cockily

There was a short pause

"Do we have time to get coffee?" He asked

"Duh" I said

He laughed as i continued driving. Once we got our coffees, we continued to make our way to work, which didn't take long at all. I parked the car in my usual spot and got out

"You coming?" I asked as Dalton didn't even unbuckle yet and was on his phone smiling

"Oh yea, my bad" he said turning his phone off and getting out

I shook my head with a laugh as we walked into the building

"Oh hey, how did the house go?" He asked

"Oh shit, I forgot to tell you" I said as I waved to Kelly and she waved back

He looked confused before he spoke

"Tell me what?" He asked

"We sold it!" I cheered

"What!" He practically yelled

Before I could say anything else, Aaron came up to us

"Y/n, Dalton, meet me in the conference room" he said

Dalton looked at me confused and I gave him a scared look. If Aaron called anyone into the conference room, that means some shit is gonna go down

"Hey, it's okay" Dalton said as he took notice of my worried look

I nodded a followed him to the room

"Congratulations!" Everyone cheered as soon as we opened the door

There stood every single person that works in this building. Clapping and cheering.

"Come in so we can toast you kids" Aaron said

Dalton and I looked at each other with the biggest smiles on our faces. We were handed a glass of what looked like champagne, or maybe it was just sparkling grape juice because who drinks on the job

"To y/n and Dalton for selling that house near the hills. There's no pair quite like you two. At twenty five years old, you two are not only best friends, but you work well together, you care for each other, and you guys are the youngest multimillion dollar real estate agents in the state of California" Aaron said

"WOOO!" Someone cheered

"YEA!" Someone else said

Dalton looked at me with a smile as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder

"Congratulations on selling yet another beautiful house!" Aaron said, finishing his speech

"To y/n and Dalton" Kelly said

"To y/n and Dalton!" Everyone cheered

Everyone clinked glasses and took a sip of what I learned now is in fact grape juice

Dalton and I hugged before Aaron came over and shook our hands

"Congrats" he said before leaving the room
