As I'm writing an address down to a new house I'm selling, there's a knock at my door
"Come in" I said
In walked dalton with his shoulders slumped and a big sigh leaving his lips
"What wrong with you?" I asked with a laugh
"I have a meeting" he pouted
"When?" I asked
"Here in ten minutes" he said looking at his watch
"But it's almost lunch" I said
He shrugged
"Looks like I'm skipping it" he said
"Damn" I said feeling bad for him because I know how much he loves food
"I know. And I'm really hungry too" he pouted some more
"Well" I said opening my drawer
"I have a granola bar, some pretzels, and... that seems to be it" I said taking notice I had nothing else
"I'll take it. This is better than nothing" he said
I couldn't help but to laugh at how sad he seemed. Over some food too
"Alright, well I guess I better go. It's starting here in a few" he said
"Alright" I laughed
"Take pictures of your food for me, so I know what im missing" he said
"Isn't that teasing and mean?" I asked with a laugh
"Oh yea, never mind" he laughed back
I shook my head with a laugh as he sent me a final wave and left my office, closing the door behind him
I slightly lean back in my chair and put my hands behind my head to stretch a little. As I'm doing so, my phone pings

Yup, just getting ready to go now

Mind if I join you? I'll be walking into your main lobby in the next two minutes

I shrugged to myself and walked out of my office. I decided to skip the elevator today and take the stairs. Reaching the final step, I see Ariana and kelly talking
"Yea, no, she's really sweet. Always there for you when you need her" Kelly finished talking
"Who?" I asked as I approached them
