"I will, thank you so much" I said over the phone
"Don't hesitate to ask questions Mrs. Johnson" I added
"Mhm, talk soon, bye" I said as I hung up my phone
I was on the phone with a potential buyer for another house I'm selling. I lean back in my chair as I take a deep breath, but there's a knock at my door
"Come in Dalton" I said automatically assuming it's him
"It's me actually" Ariana said walking into my office
I looked up from my paper and smiled
"Oh hey" I held my smile as I scooted my chair back a little
"Hey" she smiled back
"What are you doing here?" I asked genuinely curious
"Ouch, don't wanna see me?" She asked
"It's not like that, I just wasn't expecting you" I said
"Well, surprise" she laughed
That caused me to laugh as well
"Let me guess, Dalton sent you in here to gather intel on the date with Dakota?" I asked
She shook her head no
"Good, because i told him I would tell him later" I explained
"Well, I wanna know too" she said
"You don't get to know" I said jokingly
She scoffed
"I'm kidding oh my god" I laughed
"Tell meeee" she said
"You sound like a five year old wanting to know a secret" I laughed once more
She cleared her throat before she spoke
"Please, won't you tell me?" She walked closer
I shook my head no
"Pretty please" she said as she began to sit on my lap
"Whoa" I said once she fully sat down on my lap
"Please?" She asked
If i didn't know any better, I'd say she was flirting, but she's with Dalton, so it's all just in my head
"Tell me, baby" she said sounding a bit seductive
That's when my breath got caught in my throat
When she realized I wasn't saying anything, she giggled
"Cat got your tongue?" She asked
I took a deep breath and contained myself before I spoke
"Quite bold of you to just come in here and start demanding me to tell you things" I said
She nodded with an impressed look
"Also quite bold of you to be seducing me like this" I said
She scoffed
"Please, who said I was seducing you?" She asked
"Who said you weren't?" I asked
Now it was her turn to stay quiet
"What's wrong? Cat got your tongue?" I fired back
"No" she said straightening her back
That's when we held serious faces for a second, but then just completely lost it
