"Shouldn't you go home?" I asked Ariana as we were sitting on the couch
"Tired of me?" She asked
"No, but you've been here since Friday, it's now Sunday, don't you think Dalton wants to spend time with you too?" I asked
"He's been working late" she shrugged
"On the weekend?" I asked
She nodded
"He must be falling behind then, Aaron only makes people work late on weekends if they're behind" I briefly explained
She shrugged
I took notice that she had this sad look on her face. I knew deep down she was missing Dalton
"He's home now though, i told him I'll be there in an hour or so" she explained
Just then, an idea popped into my head
"How about we have a double date?" I asked
She perked up right after I said that
"Really?" She asked
I nodded
"When?" She asked
I thought for a moment. I know Dakota wanted to spend time with me tonight after Ariana left sooo
"Well, you said Dalton is home right now right?" I asked
She nodded
"I'm sure Dakota is free" I smiled
"Oh my god, then I have to go home and change right now" she said
"Go home and change then" I smiled
She immediately perked up and stood to her feet
"Thank you for getting my car for me, thank you for letting me bother you for two days, I'll see you and Dakota in a few, I'll let you know what time and where" Ariana rambled
I didn't even get time to tell her that I would find a place before she raced out my front door
I laughed to myself as I pulled my phone out to call Dakota
"Can I come over now?" He answered immediately
"Actually, get ready" I said
"Where are we going?" He asked
"On a double date" I smiled even though he couldn't see it
"With who? What the hell, this is so sudden" he said
"Ariana and Dalton" I replied
"Oh!" his voice perked up
"What do you mean "oh"?" I laughed
"I thought it was going to be with someone else" he said
"Please, don't make me laugh" I said
"Alright, alright, I'll bet ready" he said
"Okay" I replied
"What do I wear exactly?" He asked
"I have no idea, casual?" I questioned
"Okay, sounds good, I'll pick you up at six" he said
I removed my phone from my ear to see that it was already four
"Oh damn, okay" I said
"What do you mean "oh damn" that should be plenty of time" he said
"I'll make it work I guess" I laughed
