Y/n POV
As I'm putting on makeup, there is a light knock at my bedroom door
"Come in, Ariana" I spoke
The door slowly opened to reveal the shorter girl
"What's up?" I asked blending in my concealer
"Whare are your plans for the day?" She asked
"I don't think I have any" I replied looking at her through the mirror
"Do you want to go with me to have lunch with Victoria and Courtney?" She asked
"Oh no, I don't want to intrude" I said
"Trust me, you're not. They want you to come" she replied
I nodded
"And I would also love for you to come" she added
"Alright, then I'll go" I answered
"YAY!" She cheered
That caused me to laugh and shake my head at the singer
"We should leave her in like ten" she suggested
"Okay, I'm almost done" I replied
"Okay" she replied taking a seat at the foot of my bed
She let out a sigh as she began to lay down and her back hit the mattress
"Everything alright?" I asked
"Yea, just tired" she replied
"Maybe we shouldn't go then and you should get some more sleep" I suggested
"No way" she replied
"Why?" I asked
"Because I told them we were going" she replied
"I'm sure they would understand" I told her
"They won't" she giggled
"Alright, I'm done" I said finishing up
"Come lay with me" she patted the spot next to her
"I don't want to mess up my hair" I stated
"Just come lay with me" she demanded
I gave in and began walking over to my bed. I took a seat and I was going to stay like that until she pulled me down by the back of my shirt to lay down
"Dalton texted me late last night and finally told me he landed" Ariana stated
"What time did he tell you?" I asked
"Well I guess it was more this morning at four" she replied
"His plane landed at eight pm" I stated
"I know. I don't know why he thought I would believe him when he had already told you he landed" Ariana replied
"He thinks he's slick" I shrugged
"He's not" she pointed out
"Not at all" I replied
Just then, Ariana turned on her side to face me
"At least you're always seemingly honest with me" she sighed
"I try to be" I said also turning onto my side as well
"And I appreciate it" she smiled
"It's no problem" I said just above a whisper as my breath got caught in my throat
