Y/n POV
I'm woken up by the harsh sound of my phone ringing. I begin to feel around in my bed for my phone and check the time when I find it laying face down on my left side. Unfortunately I wasn't able to answer in time, so whoever called just got sent to voicemail. The clock read three in the morning and just below it, there was a missed call from Ariana. Without wasting anytime, I unlocked my phone and dialed her back
"Hey Ariana" I said trying to sound as awake as possible
"Sorry I woke you. I thought I could do this whole staying alone thing but turns out I can't and I was going to ask you to come get me" she admitted in a ramble
"I wasn't sleeping" was all I said
"Don't even lie to me" she laughed
"You want me to come get you?" I asked to double check
"No it's alright. I'll just tough it out and then I'll head over there in the morning or afternoon" she said
"Ariana, it's fine" I said
"No just go back to sleep" she told me
"I'm already up and putting my shoes on" I told her
"Y/n" she said
"I'm already walking to the car. Get yourself and the animals ready" I told her
"Okayyy" she said just giving in
"I'll see you in a few" I told her
"Alright" she replied
With that, the call ended and I began to make my way to my car. Luckily Rocky didn't wake up so I didn't have to worry about him being awake and alone. As I reach my car, I quickly get in and start it. The drive to Ariana's isn't that long so I pass the time by putting on some music and just lightly hum along to the songs that play on the radio
It isn't long before I'm pulling into the driveway and getting out of the car to knock on her front door. It swings open revealing her, the dogs, piggy, and some bags with clothes and all of the things she may need
"Hi" she smiled at me shyly
"Good morning" I laughed lightly
"I'm sorry I woke you" she apologized
"Don't be" I told her as I took the bags from her
"I can take those" she told me
I shook my head no
"Are you ready?" I asked her
She nodded
"Okay, let's go" I said as I began walking to my car after she locked the front door to her house
"Get in guys and gal" Ariana told her farm as I put her bags into the trunk
It was now mine and Ariana's turn to get into the car and start to make our way to my house
"Everyone buckled?" I half joked since the animals can't really buckle up
That's caused Ariana to laugh as I pulled out of her driveway
"I feel so bad" she spoke up
"Don't. I knew I was probably going to end up getting you at some point tonight" I admitted
"Gee thanks for having faith in me" she said sarcastically
"No problem" I smiled at her
She playfully rolled her eyes
"The guest room is already set up" I told her
"Thank you so much" she told me
"Of course" I nodded
It didn't take long for us to get home. I soon pulled into the driveway and we began to get out of the car. I grabbed Ariana's bags from the trunk as she grabbed the dogs and piggy and we soon made our way into the house
"Is Rocky sleeping?" Ariana asked as we walked in quietly
"Yea" I replied
She nodded
We walked up the stairs together and started settling Ariana into the guest room. I set her bags by the door as she took a seat the edge of the bed
"Thank you again for coming to get me so late. I'm really, really sorry I woke you up" she apologized once again
"Stop apologizing, you're lucky I like you so much" I smiled at her
"Is that so?" She asked looking up at me
"Mhm" I hummed
"Do you like me enough to help me hang some of my clothes?" She asked
I thought for a moment
"I suppose" I replied
"Good" she replied with a smile
"God Ariana, you really know how to sucker me huh?" I asked
"It seems that way. You're wrapped around my finger" she smiled
I laughed with a shake to my head
"Has he called you to tell you he landed?" I asked her as we began unpacking
"No, did he call you?" She asked
"Yea" I replied
She hummed
"He told me he called you" I said honestly
"He didn't" she replied
"I'll kill him for you" I said jokingly
"Please do" she replied with a laugh
We unpacked in silence for a bit. It wasn't until she stopped and laid down on the bed with a sigh that I took notice at how tired she might be
"We can finish later" I told her as the sun was starting to come up
She nodded
"I'll let you sleep" I said as I began walking to the door
"Y/n?" She asked
"Yea?" I asked back
"Can you stay in here for a little bit?" She asked
"Sure" I smiled giving in instantly
She smiled back as she scooted up on the bed and patted the spot next to her
"See, wrapped around my finger" she pointed out
"I will leave right now" I laughed
"You wouldn't dare" she glared at me
"I'll stay with you" I told her
"I just don't want to be alone yet" she admitted
"I get it" I said laying down next to her
"Thank you for always doing what you do for me. I really do adore you" she smiled as she looked over at me
"Of course, it's no problem at all" I smiled and looked at her
"Goodnight in case I fall asleep" she told me
"Goodnight" I said back as she turned so her back was facing me
